I don't think Ringo was the Crowell. But I will say that George is the most interesting, or at least deepest. Ringo did some good work in the 70s, and some of it, like Goodnight Vienna, was with help with his former bandmates. But probably the best thing he did was the All-Star Band, inviting different musicians in.
But after you're a Beatle, wtf is expected of you anyway? I'm happy Ringo cleansed his body and cleansed his soul. I wish John had had the same opportunity.- Galron

the Beatles could have laid back all the rest of their lives and we wouldn’t have the right to think ill of them
I watched an interesting movie, called Yesterday, a bit ago, that wonders, what if suddenly, for everyone but this random budding musician, the Beatles had never existed, or rather, never gotten together as a band?

but in the first one I’m looking for problems with Cook’s plan, to see if she has answers for those problems
in the second I’m talking to you, in rather the same way you talked to me, and then asking you what you think about something we might do, which is more game-advancing/consensus-building than anything particular you’ve done

I don't really have a handle on this game yet. Well, maybe a little. I'll let Will Geer in on this; I mean that was six or seven seasons on the Walons and he almost always had a line on everyone in the cast.In post 96, DArby wrote:
It’s less that he’s voting you and more so that he voted twice for the same person in a row. It all feels like anti-town busywork. I’ll take a look at his meta sometime in the next 24 hours and see if this is how he plays but I don’t trust it.
Before I sleep:
@Galron: why are you apathetic? How would you rather scum hunt?
Truth be told, I'm not so much of a scum hunter as a town hunter. I can spot a John Boy. But if you want me to find an Ashley Longworth, Sr or Jr, it takes me a bit of work.- Galron

I'm not apathetic toward Cook's posts. I just don't feel like reading them. I guess maybe that is apathy; I don't know. Everyone else's posts are much shorter. That's got something to do with it. Cook could be open-wolfing (I have a personal bias against that term btw), but I don't know. It seems that if anyone is wolfing (there's that term again) it up again, I, and everyone else, would be alerted to it. In a succinct manner ofc.In post 103, Facebones wrote:Sorry for my absence, I was either sleeping or working. My view is that it's herding cats, and without an effective sales pitch, never comes together. 7 people are not going to agree to any plan, let alone this one. I assume that 3 or 4 may decide to follow it, and if so that torches the plan and makes town vulnerable. Without a buy in by all players, scum have the advantage. In post 216, Val89 wrote:Can everyone else put some eyes on this and tell me what it is I am missing here?
My personal view is that I don't want to participate in a potentially game-breaking strategy, so I will never agree to such a plan. In these confined I'd rather not be part of a kind of a Kobayashi Maru scenario.- Galron

Val89's catchup posts, if that's what they are, underwhelm me. Cook's strategy isn't going to be implemented, and while it's fine to talk about players' reactions to the proposal, focusing on the substance of the strategy is futile, and I believe of little value when it comes to reads. (Maybe other than Cook's, but I haven't seen it yet)- Galron

I have to have some admiration for someone who's active listened to more than 1200a albums in the last few years. That's impessive. My musical tastes run wide, and I'm sure I could find that many albums or more to listen to. But active listening is another matter. That sounds like it could either be work or a way to meditate.- Galron

I'll get to your question -- sorry I missed it. But I got the impression the first game I was in with you that you were LHF. I found out in other games that you are a strong player, so I don't know if the LHF game was larping or just an off-game. My guess is it was just a game you weren't into.In post 204, Roden wrote:Going by post count at the time you TR'd me, I didn't have much content yet but I've been locktown'd for less, so it's nothing that pings me atm. I'd only be suspicious of it if I was a major scum read, I've said this in other games but scum love to town read me and defend me when I look scummy to get that sweet town cred if/when I flip green.
Tbh I'm more interested in who you scum read since Spangled is a town lean for you now.
Spangled I'm back and forth on. Facebones leaning scum. Val leaning scum (very lightly bc of little content and I don't remember what the predecessor did)- Galron

The game Roden pointed out where Cook did pre much the exact same thing i.e. tracker claiming is always on my mind

Both being scum seems way too easy
And I don't understand asking if both scum were against the plan if you thought that Cook was one. - Galron
