No one should ever take a day vig 24 hours into the game seriously unless it's Bad Idea Mafia, and I certainly wouldn't expect that from Noraa.

I usually expect LLD to play like she's going to die Night 1. I'm used to her gambits, and the fake day vig is easily something she's do for reactions, but she went no where with it and is now slinking in the shadows of gameplay.

The whole thing seems weird to me.

In fact, just a bet in general, the scum team could simply just be all the bosses with no real alignment differential.

Hey do you mind telling me whether the flavor of Ircher's claim makes sense?

It really doesn't, but from what people are saying, they're adamant that Flavor and Roles can't be used to break the game.

Helen Marshall is stand offish, no nonsense, and spends a lot of the game doing her own thing, and in the DLC she runs off alone and says she can only "do this herself.". She's the former head of Security before the Main Character has to put her down since she gets infected by Hiss. She's not a bad guy though, and would most certainly be aligned with town if in the game.

TL;DR Helen Marshall isn't really Friendly Neighbor material IMHO, but it's a confirmable role, so... Whatever.

Haven't you been preaching that flavor is irrelevant? The TV is one of Jesse's Objects of Power after she contains it, and almost all of the Objects of Power in the game need to be contained or cleansed.

In fact the Benecoff TV is really not any different than the Safe that LLD flipped. Both are corrupted when first encountered, and bother ultimately end up as part of Jesse's suite of powers.

The TV grants her levitation, the safe grants her shields.

It actually stands to reason that Objects of Power are the power roles. Alan Wake is a bit of an outlier to that theory, but he's not actually in the game and you only see visions of him through the Hotline as part of the DLC.

I'm reading through isos right now and I'm coming to the conclusion that if there is a deepwolf, it's Norwee.

Joined the Ircher wagon while it was popular, but was always pushing people to vote elsewhere like Mega and T3. Defended Dunn days 1-3 quite a bit. But mostly... It's the noise. Norwee made a lot of noise to look busy.

There's also the matter of my superpower being that I notoriously claim that my first townread in a lot of games ends up actually being scum.

Norwee has to relay exactly what happens in the neighborhood, and it doesn't hurt their scum game and only helps them look townoer actually.

I think most importantly, Norwee isn't trying to change the status quo.

Hey toogs, you're the flavour expert right, What's the difference between Trench, Marshall and Darling?

Trench is the previous director before the MC, Jesse Faden takes over. He is the first person to be corrupted by the Hiss, and is the reason there is a mass outbreak of Hiss in the Oldest House. He's not an antagonist, but he was the cause of all the problems.

Marshall was the previous Head of Security. She was alive in the main game and an ally, but was corrupted in one of the DLCs. She is the final boss in that DLC.

Darling was the previous Head of Research. He is responsible for almost everything important happening in the Oldest House and was the first person to figure out Trench had become corrupted. His fate in the game is unknown, but he's pretty much the smartest man in the Bureau. Emily Pope is his successor even with knowing what has ever happened to him.

With the given flips from scum, the Mafia team is clearly all the primary antagonists in the game. I was earlier suspicious that Trench could also fall in this category, though you don't fight Trench ever. I was also considering Dylan as falling in this category, though he also is not actually a boss.

Former (Debatable since it's not really hostile in DLC)

There are minor bosses, like Salvador and Gibbs, but they are unimportant. Goon quality if anything.

Anyways, you seemed adamant that Flavor could not break the game. There also too much variables and favor and roles are showing to be mostly unbreakable. This isn't FFXIV where flavor was far more back and white.

She wears one the entire game, but it's Darling that had them distributed. You don't see people get HRAs that didn't have them prior because of you don't have one, you are either corrupted already or in a position to prevent being corrupted.

With the claims and flips, the one living claim that really sticks out to me is the Ashtray.

First off, the ashtray is only half the object of power. Secondly, it's the only claimed object of power in the game that Jesse doesn't work with, and it's more of an obstacle.

That being said, I would not have suspected Director Northmoor to be in the game either because they are only ever referenced from DLC. Alan Wake is also DLC.

Trench is Jesse's predecessor who is the cause of the problems in the game.
Jesse is the current Director.

That's three Directors. Three characters with basically the same "role" in Control in this game.
