I think that the hoods were likely generated randomly. And I think that statistically a 2:1:0 split is more likely then a 1:1:1 split or a 3:0:0 split.

I did not plan to reveal that the traffic analyst was SM, but Noraa said it.

Noraa said that if SM and Stephen were in a hood together, maybe SM stole the claim from seeing Stephens back up claim. I said I don't think that Stephen ever claimed, so Strange could not have stolen that claim from him. Hence, SM is almost certainly true claiming here.

I asked Stephen for his result, and a series of questions that I could use to check against how SM said that their role worked. I was looking into SM's claim.

Then Stephen told me that he did not get a result because he is a back-up - So, I landed back on SM true claiming

I figured out how to use her ability to get a result on Noraa.

I told everyone to not hood Noraa so it could work.

Noraa outed as a mass neighborizor, and I told her that she needed to put SM in her hood with her.

I dont know that I made this clear in the hood, but I was against him changing his stance - I had no reason to believe there was actually a vig, and did not want to let more people know what was going on with Sm's claim in case shenanigans. Also, since the plan was for SM to go into Noraas hood with a few other people, I figured we would get Sm's result anyways if I was wrong and there was a vig and that vig shot sm.

Like the standard TA can check if target can "communicate" so the modified probably gets if they can communicate on multiple channels. This makes Lukewarm a Miller to them at the very least.

The modifier states that my role will ignore the fact that people are in the same PTs as me, so if someone like Noraa was in another PT from the ones that I was in, I'd have gotten a "Can communicate" but didn't. Mostly assuming that if I died they would've had the same role as me

MT is town. She neighborized me last night and just wow that would bea lot of fake sorting before she even picked who to neighborize that she posted before I arrived, and I'm hardly the best person to impress with that amount of effort.

I don't think that SM's ability is that big of a deal. Getting an Inno on Noraa was probably the best thing we could get out of it, and I am glad that we got it.

I am pretty sure that the only info that I have shared this game that I should not have shared was that I was in all of the Night 0 hoods as early as I did. That was a mistake, and I should not have done it. I made a misplay because I misunderstood the set up, and falsely assumed that multiple people were in multiple hoods, and was unaware of my unique position.

Literally everything else that I have shared across the hoods has been tactical.

So yeah, I would rather people not just out here over sharing without a reason.

i mean heres the thing. last night i was thinking about it and there was a couple possiblities.
1) SM is killed overnight. This places suspicion on Morning. In this scenario i believe morning is likely town and SM is killed for wifom purposes since no one really TRs morning but also they cant have another clear
2) Morning is killed overnight. This would be a strange kill but it could go either way. No conclusion
3) Someone else is killed overnight. SM is almost always scum in this situation unless RBed. They should always be worried about the SM-morning dynamic if both are town.

Given a no kill and a clear on morning (no RB), i think number 1 was what happened. idk it might be wrong but pretty sure SM is just mech clear here.

Or we can wait for the claimed protective to out their target before we write anyone off as mech clear lol

One thing tweetie, is that we got 2 invests out of SM, which feels strong, but I don't think that that was the expected outcome from her role.

It only worked because everyone outed what hoods they were in and you, Noraa, and Strange all claimed your roles

That is what allowed us to coordinate the hoods lists to find targets she could invest.

If Strange never claimed, Noraa would be in her own hood, and immune to Stranger's invest.

If you never claimed, strange could have pulled a false guilty on you not knowing you were in your hood.

This feels overly simplistic.

In the Isekai uPick game, the theme of the game was that upon death you were Isekai'd to the dead thread - where you would play mini games, and if you won you got to do something that affected the main thread. (I was able to send a letter to any living player for the game I won for example).

I made the decision to hide Dunn's mech clear. Had a whole conversation with House about it. Let scum think they had one more possible miselim then they really did.

Dunn is a friendly neighbor. Night 1 he targeted Stephen, and Stephen has confirmed it in Noraa's hood.

Because it was confirmed in there by confirmed town Stephen, [me, math, and flea] all had it confirmed to us. There was no worry that hiding it would let the truth die with a night kill, so it seemed advantageous to sit on it.

Things about balance, the scum slip definitely did not help.

Also, I think we got more benefit from StrangeMatter's ability then would have happened in 90% of this game being ran. She happened to be in the largest street hood, giving her the biggest chance of having any targets, AND the career hoods lined up for her, AND both of her valid targets happened to be neighborizors that we could coordinate making sure they worked.

I think simply having 4 career choices that were equally appealing would have caused her to have ~0-1 targets she could invest

The main reason is mostly fatigue

Scum have an uphill battle in that the dead can talk after they die.
Leaving in the possibility of no death at night just extends that fatigue.
Instead of a doctor I would use something like a Vanillizer that acts before the check. I would have to chew through the ramifications.

I don't think that SM's role gets that much use 99% of the time.

For example, if Bell had been the TA though, he had

ZERO valid targets.

(Math, LLD, Dunn, A50, Enchant were all in different streets || Noraa, Morning Tweet, StrangeMatter, and Flea were all in different Careers).

That would have been even worse if all four careers were chosen close to evenly. The heavy lean away from Agriculture and Industy made the odds of having targets more likely.

Looking over the mod notes, it looks like the TA was guaranteed to be in Dranlon street.

That hood was 6 people. I was always uninvestigable, and then TA themselves was as well. From the start,

there were only 4 possible targets

If the career hoods were evenly distributed, you would expect there to be exactly one valid target for the TA. Then the neighborizors fire, and possibly ruin that.

So, on average, I think that the TA gets 0.x clears from their ability, and they never get to choose who they are able to invest. it is always chosen for them - and we managed to get two clears on slots that were not already cleared by the scum slip. Which is way better then the expected result.

The TA was swingy in design, and this roll of the set up gave it about the maximum amount of power it ever could have gotten.

Calculated Dunn's percentage of all posts made day 1 compared to how many players were in the game, then did conditional formatting to color his higher post rate games green. (because you are positing that lurk dunn = scum dunn) to then see if there is any corrolation.

The conditional formatting guessed incorrectly 4 times, got it right 1 time, and then it did not give a result on his middle of the road game.

If anything, this is wrong more then it is right, and lurk Dunn = town Dunn.

Once you correct forrest fire, every game he was between 0-29% he was town.
Every game he was over 50% he was scum
