Can/should I take 3 different veggies instead of a recipe card?

You can only take two veggies at a time, not three - and it doesn't matter if they're the same or different. You can take veggies whether you have any recipes or not.

Veggies aren't worth anything without recipes; recipes aren't worth anything without veggies. So to some extent it doesn't matter which you take first.

However, we'll cycle through recipes fast, and they're more varied than the veggies are. So if you see a recipe that you want, grab it - it probably won't be there if you wait until your next turn.

@mod, which recipe 1 is it? The one in 43 or the recipe 1 in 45? Because since Farren didn’t select a recipe for his turn, why would it change?

I much prefer the recipe 1 in 43 to 45 but I guess I’ll take whichever one is cirrect I guess?

However, I would prefer this clarified before I lock that in if possible.

- When you take Veggies, they are replaced on the game board by flipping over Recipes, which then get replaced with new Recipes.

This is why the Recipes changed.

I do feel bad randomizing Nancy Drew 39's final turn so if she wants to also flip one of her recipes to maximize score I will allow it. But I had to move the game forward for everyone else, to be fair & stick to the rules.
