Mathematically it makes sense that there are scum in there because of the sheer number of pieole, but what you said doesn't make sense because you are insinuating that there is a link between not voting in RVS and being scum which isn't true.

Actually to be fair I've been scum read for creating a cat related day one partnership with another player in a game, people said exactly what I just said, and we both turned out to be town.

There is one player in particular that I'd consider voting for but the reason is so moonlogic that the chance of the read being right would be as accurate as voting randomly, so not helpful at all.

That said, @geraintm has offered no qualifier to the vote, other than the fact that @clidd has voted fro them(which they did not explicitly state). Their reply to @clidd's vote in itself was a defense of their method, so where does the decision to vote clidd come in? Is the above post decisive enough a motivation?

So my logic at the time was that we were a few real time days into the game and gibus basically hadn't produced any content except for some joking around and a vote that didn't look serious, I didn't think scum would risk that because in my experience scum tend to have a high post count early on day one to try and seem present and helpful, steer the game, and avoid being scumread for lurking, if they are going to drop off it usually happens much later.

The read is tentative and is subject to change though and now that some proper content is happening I'll need to look through again.

You could say that it tips the scale a bit in favour of mafia. And it allows them to play scum with low effort.

ridiculous, I've seen people draw pretty strange conclusions in mafia before, and it's always possible his role is informed or something. But I doubt these are actually his reads, I think it's just trolling and until not mafia posts some reasoning behind the reads I will treat them as such.

That line means nothing. "I think I could find reasons to scumread you both, but I'm not going to try" is a pretty blatant hedge. It's probably the worst thing about the ISO that it's the closest thing he has to making a scumread.

Ok idk if you are scum or not but crescent, you're constant talk about meta from previous games is pinging me. It's not overly helpful for people who haven't played in those games, and especially the meta analysis of georgebailey as vanya, talking about the "vibes bening off" seems pretty useless, it's a well know fact that people change around their playstyle and attitude between games, ESPECIALLY if they are using an alt account or the game is anonymous, which it sounds like this one was.

Most of the meta analysis you've posted seems to be talking about things that are nai. So please only do it if it's genuinely very relevant, because it's making it hard for me to follow the game.

In the case of Gera it was more about someone like Goldfish ignoring that I wasn't even the first person to bring up past games of his. I wasn't being sussed for it, but the very origin of the argument was being ignored.

It's just infuriatingly lazy play coming from that slot overall.

The thing is I feel like it's so openly lazy this game that scum would be reluctant about how obvious it looks. It's why I don't find it scummy. The slot is being so openly useless it makes me think it's town.

The problem is Corwin was making this the lynchpin (This is an actual nonoffensive word that fits the sentence) of his "argument" against Vivax, learning it wasn't a good argument against a new player, and then still voting him anyway. I also feel like this only really escalated after Vivax redoubled his efforts to pursue Corwin.

This led to even more Jester talk, and that's when I decided it was probably about time to put the topic on ice.

Kinda expected. My play so far has been pretty terrible, if I wasn't me I would be voting me.

Fish do you think it was weird that the shift from Corwin and Owen to George felt rushed? How do you feel about the events that happened?

Yes it felt rushed, (although that might be because I wasn't present for any of it, I literally woke up in the morning and was like "oh wow George is dead, didn't expect that to happen". I was going to say that I didn't like Owen's sudden hammer, buuuttt they've already proven to be scum so it's not that useful.

Ok this sounds so bad but I'm kinda stumped bc Owen and Clidd were the two reads I was most confident in. Ie. I thought clidd was town, and I my information indicated owen seemed scummy what with that hammer and all so I was planning to press him about it today.
