Hi Taly,
It's fine. I don't mind. Actually. I don't even see much like a negative to it.
Mostly, I just would prefer to have drawn more NK's by being annoying but.
Oh well. and I mean. I didn't find it likely that the scum team didn't know anyway.

1. I'm an omguser at heart. Sure they were dunked on as incorrect by Luke and they are incorrect, but they aren't changing their mind based on their most recent post.
2. I don't really understand why they're attacking one of the most active players in the game who can be read correctly eventually anyway. Mostly it just looks like they're uninterested in meta.
3. I think it makes sense for them to dislike people who are invested in thread control. They're attributing manipulation to my actions but the spoiler there is that I'm about as manipulative as scum as a wet rag. I don't manipulate. I just try to fit whatever they think makes people town.
4. In this case I'm just going from player to player pushing them. Sadly everybody I push is having RL stuff going on. So Dwlee flunked out for me and I won't push there yet.

Enchant seems okay so far, but god knows I can't read that one, but I don't want that one to die.

I think it's interesting, that Pooky asked for a mass read's list which the scum team will obviously use so if they don't do something with it I'm going to start attacking them.

Oh, it's not a threat of popularity, I just mean I'll prbably scum read people and have a lead if they're more wishy-washie than they ought to be.
They don't get to say I'm an easy sort and then not push back when obvious town is about to die on them.

With BBT I can't tell yet.

I'm seeing: Town that wants to challenge the status quo who is a bit flippant.
I'm seeing: Scum who is trying on bravado in a reaction to pressure.

I know they roll with bravado as town when pushed as a replace slot.
I think it just depends on the direction they go here or what they plan to do.
It's probably worth it to see what kind of trejectory they take and whether their reads form naturally. So far, I can't really tell.

In post 61, Taly wrote:holy shit

OTH didn't really flip on them though. They didn't really have a position to begin with, Neither did Rad. They were already No votes.
In post 62, Taly wrote:

, who do you think I'm getting snowed by? tbh i feel like several of my defenders could be pocketing me in some manner.

i ask mainly because
tbone
suggested
drap/pooky/nancy
and i want a perception check

i also want to hear you talk about
OTH's
push on you being scum in lieu of defending me.

its also odd that
math
spent time trying to find
rce's
justification for the
ceph
vote but quickly pivoted back onto me the moment
luke
gave reasoning to vote me.

im really not feeling the
tbone
masterminding
ceph's
choices like
pooky
is implying? ill have to read back onto that

i still strongly believe
nancy/titus
are town, do you disagree?
2. The only thing I felt is mildly insulted when GE pushed at me, so I decided largely to ignore it. It's clear I don't really like being suspected and have little interest in jumping a particular player's hoops. I didn't dig because in general when I dig into GE it takes time that I don't have the patience for right now.
3. From a post to post angle I can't see scum T-bone, their posts are relatively relatable and they aren't always aiming for understanding/writing for an audience. However from a larger perspective I can see it in their mild reach outs and shifts in angles in their approaches to me. They pushed at first before becoming relatively benign. Pooky isn't wrong that they never did hard push anyone and while there's some evidence of solving there isn't much like unguarded posts from them either. I'm not sure if they're afraid of criticism or just waiting for something to come to them or they're afraid of taking a stance as scum and just want to appear somewhat harmless and funny. I find the arguments for MB and Frog more compelling. I can't help but think Pooky is wrong on one of them, but I don't know.

4.I don't. I think Nancy is town because their personality traits have been consistent with how they seem to play. They're vulnerable to buddying. Flattery and they take sides they shouldn't be taking. But that's a conversation for never. I've been frustrated and then calmed myself down a lot with them this game and just let them spam insistently about their position without antagonizing them for arguing.
In post 63, Taly wrote:im still very confident with
ceph
scum, i dont see the justification for town that people have outlined so far. even if this gladiate was not targeted to protect a scumbuddy in danger, it felt weird that
ceph
kept this supicion on my slot for majority of the dayphase without ever pushing it

and in fact pushed
johnny
instead but pivoted back onto me.

it feels disingenuous, especially in light of
ceph
taking fault of my post 1580 which was a reply to
johnny
.

i still feel like
johnny's
got +1 townpings but they have lacked presence in this thread so far.
1. Ceph tends to be pretty mild D1 if they can get away with it as either alignment really. I think their shadowing and trajectories make a general sort of sense.
2. Johnny doesn't make sense to me some of his posts seem purposely sarcastic because it doesn't make sense for them to make those posts unless they were making fun of someone. They've also been hard active lurking without contributing they have a significant number of page tops, they've followed the whole game and done almost nothing with it.
In post 64, Taly wrote:im feeling slightly calmed with
Luke
? like i dont think hes a buddy to
ceph
in any reality because of how much he's willing to ride the fence and find a lim.

in a vacuum, that perspective can be scum-indicative but i think scum likely has a preferred gladiate elimination, especially in the reality of
ceph
!scum

I think Pooky didn't like T-bone making light and having insuffcient analysis for the game state along with in general not making hard pushes and in some cases, just being dishonest in their statements, for example their regret that they didn't push harder, but there wasn't much like any push to T-bone.

I do deal almost exclusively with raging Pooky scum though. I'm a little surprised he didn't call me out for not instantly scum reading them for their outburst.

I find it pretty common for Gamma to dive tackle random people when there are wagons happening but not really engage much with the wagon itself.
It could be Shade tho. You've probably played with them more than me, but I find what Gamma did here relatively in line with them. This doesn't make them town. It just means they're in character.

I've seen hydra partners with Nancy lean on them significantly as scum too tho.

I've been linked one game where Pooky had a Meltdown as town before. It honestly seemed fairly similar.

I agree that the suspicion on you won't die if you don't go out there and do what you're doing in here. Grass is always greener etc.

When Johnny said you were obvtown after a fairly benign post, I pretty much did a triple take and have been weighing whether it was sarcastic, meant to piss off the crowded that was triggered by Nancy calling you obvtown with the thinnest of rationales and an unwillingness to repeat them. Whether it was a snipe at Nancy because they is agreed, they were informed and just creating ambiguity for later if you flipped town or scum etc.

Super inconvenient I'd have to go find the game and then go find the post where it was linked.
I meant similar to their scum melt downs. I still reserve the right to try to spot the difference between their scum and town melt downs.

I mean, it was situation in which my preferred elim got derailed as a minority exerted thread control through spam, AtE and "Taly is obv town" and largely argued for a sub optimal outcome of a no lim in an ambiguous situation
Like, Nancy didn't even know if you aTe'd as scum but felt confident enough to advocate for you making every page a battle for control of the narrative. They campaigned for you and ignored unwritten rules of general discourse.
That can be frustrating.

I don't really think Mathblade is genuine when they hesitated to reveal that scum might role block Dunn/Frog and kill the other. It's too simple for them. They can come up with some very convoluted hypotheses about games, roles, and player behaviors esp as town.
This isn't that.

Some. I don't think it's unusual for people to consider role blockers/strongmans/other measures etc. I just find it implausible that if the scum team had the tools on hand they wouldn't have considered it because it makes the assumption that the scum team are a bunch of 10 year olds playing mafia for the first time and even they would likely figure it out after a little discussion and prompting from a teacher. or 11 year old.

I'm aware of Nancy's general history on the site. I've spent some time and been careful to side step the pitfalls that most players fall in when interacting with her. Lukewarm fell into one or two.

Mathblade usually brings up the "I think I know the scum team's plan or the possibility of one, but I can't talk about it least I do the work for them"
Almost every game I've been in with them actually. This one just seems off because the scale is totally different

Most of the time their arguments are hyper complex and very unlikely. in this vein, especially. Every-time they do the "I dunno guys what if scum do this, but I'm afraid to say more" people pester them for an answer and everytime when they reveal the reasoning most players roll their eyes and are like "Yeah, that's super unlikely though." and I've never actually seen them be right on these reveals. So I dunno why they keep doing that as either alignment really.

Like in one game Mathblade hypothesized that Spiffeh and I were scum partners because I was a *MASON INVENTOR* with ANOTHER MASON that was outted already. It was impressive in its convolution.

Here they warn us that there's no knowing what damage could be done if we give scum the answer that 2+2 = 4.

Probably CSF, Dwlee, Roden. Luke.
Nancy just below.
pooky below that. Currently. But I tend to change on a dime with that one.
Klick far below that but still in town read land. Sort of.

I think it would be worthwhile to try to sort PD. Right now I lean town based on approach but it’s hard to sort the hyper competitive ones.

I don’t but when I have coffee I do the same and dump a lot of creamer in it.

In post 123, Taly wrote:I didn't really follow the reasons behind that slot being scum or suspicious, or really remember who pushed them.

I've consistently liked their posts or at least found nothing suspicious. Especially when
Rad
disapproved of how destructive the dialogue during the gladiate was becoming. In my experience, it's more likely town to convey grievances with environment because I've seen scum players exploit confrontation as a strategy.

I’ve seen both. Sometimes they do that precisely for that reason, to get town read for expressing a relatable opinion. I don my think that’s the case here. But I’m not confident in it.
