I mean, based on the vague wording I'm going to guess there's going to be some sort of weird set up reltaed confusion which is going to send town into the wilderness where they will all die lost and alone.

If you could be so kind, could you please refrain from doing this type of gambit again ProfessorDrapion?
The reason I ask is because it's hard to win games when the facts aren't the facts. I think I lost 2 of my last 3 games largely because of these types of plays.
While having a town member in control of eliminations is sometimes a good thing. Odds are with a gambit like this you will miss and then you will be miseliminated.

Pedit: Oh so you were a tracker that lied about their results? Who did you check? what were the results?

I'm basically asking you not to pull this type of gambit because the mathematics don't work out in town's favor.
let's eliminate the probable mason pair.
2/7 *100 = 28.57%
There's the hard math. You had a 71.43% chance of being wrong.

The rest is fuzzy variables.
But other things you might weigh and play with.
1. What is the percentage chance you will be miseliminated if you're wrong with this fake claim?
2. What was the percentage chance you would have been miseliminated if you didn't make the gambit?
3. What was the percentage chance that without your fake claim scum would have been eliminated?

I think if you weigh this honestly you'll see that it was pretty much a risk that was unnecessary and weighed against you.
It was an unforced error and while you're arguing that your gambit revealed the remaining scum. Objectively it didn't, it's a fuzzy variable.

I think the following outcomes would have been better for town.

1. You did gambit and hit scum then were night killed.
2. You did not gambit. 28.57% chance of hitting scum.
3. You did gambit miseliminated and were night killed.
4. You did gambit, miseliminated and avoided your own miselimination.

I think all of these outcomes were objectively better.

I mean, I'm simply pointing out that "morale" is a possible explanation for the activity of each player. I don't use mono-tools or evaluate people on a single variable, but this one feels okay to me. Or at least in a world where I have 2 lims to go I'm comfy going with that.
And yes, Gamma has been pretty reactive.

But if you’re in a bad spot you manipulate the gamestate and people’s minds.

As outed scum this game left me continue to plan and speak and move chess pieces on the board.

Some assumptions people made are accurate and some I have poisoned the well.

When you see the mafia PT post game there is a key assumption (I won’t say what) that I am not correcting.
:o

Wow, seriously? Why would you even think you had a traitor in this game?
I can’t answer that without spoiling some things sorry.
Mathblade has thought there was a traitor in half or more of the games I’ve been in him with.
Though, I think it makes thematic sense here. Albeit I don’t think that is happening in this game.

In general Nancy, I think if there’s a pattern of a player getting under a player’s skin by escalating/saying stuff that they “would never say as scum” before turning out to be scum. Because it might jeopardize their oog relationships.

You have to ask yourself if you’re an exception to that pattern.
Most people don’t deviate from their patterns unless there’s a good reason.

I’m still not sure if you’re wrong.
I also think that we really shouldn’t lose sight of being in a game of mafia when having these interactions.
I don’t think it’s a good idea to think of oog consequences to in game actions or vice versa.

I’m trying to say an opinion, but I don’t think I’m doing a good job communicating it.
