I like Palmer for town - if Clark flips mafia I would think Garry, Lars and MacReady are town as well.

are you preflipping him already? In post 74, Childs~ wrote:Oh ya i would just bus my partner on page 2In post 72, Blair~ wrote:I think Clark & Childs could both be scum and Childs might actually have more scum equity atp - would not be opposed to moving votes there instead.
I like MacReady's 69 think this slot is currently town.
Haha 69.
can you explain the joke my sense of humor is not as sophisticatedIn post 80, Childs~ wrote:Well I Will put it in simple words for YouIn post 78, Blair~ wrote:do you want to explain the mindset of your reply to me ?
It was a joke

I guess people should post more and talk in their natural voice so we can have more post history to compare off when things go badIn post 119, Norris~ wrote:will the changelings not just take over whoevers most townread though.. ill stop townreading people.
what does this even meanIn post 138, Windows~ wrote:I'm also not convinced a town Blair posts his code so confidently especially with giving the answer to the first code. That to me feels more likely scum trying to appear to be town.
I don't think he feels comfortable and he's pretty limited in terms of what he's commenting on. Don't get a lot of intent to push/solve/sort from his slot.In post 137, Lars~ wrote:why? I liked their posts so farIn post 133, Blair~ wrote:I am suspicious of Bennings

In post 268, Childs~ wrote:because you are too bad to do that. prove me wrongIn post 267, Norris~ wrote:why didnt i just... try harder to appear town so I wouldnt have to changeling?
I play to kill bad guys I don't play to enforce the anti-trolling laws of 2015. I don't like being trolled but I also don't like losing cuz some random townie decided to troll my gameIn post 283, Childs~ wrote: why are you defending a troll old man?
do you like being trolled?
as for your question, he trolls today to "appear" town because his actions are "too scum to be scum" and then changelings to someone, I can totally see scum trying to pull that off
are you making progress on thisIn post 279, Clark~ wrote:Garry and it doesn't. I don't have a strong scum read on anyone yet.In post 277, Blair~ wrote:which read did you disagree with and why does it make them mafia?
on a re-read this feels like Bennings is slipping that Clark is Mafia. In post 102, Bennings~ wrote:Too scummy to be scum is a possibility, yeah, but that reads more like virtue signaling to me.
I don't think it's a "virtue" to E-1 someone if that vote target is town? It only makes sense imo to call it virtue signaling if you think the player being voted is mafia - but he doesn't state he thinks Clark is Mafia. In post 99, Bennings~ wrote:Oh you meant the opposite?
@Norris
It reads like someone simulating town behavior with the "not really ready to move any wagon to E-1" thing. Commenting for the sake of commenting.
In post 362, Palmer~ wrote:Or maybe these are three town wagons and the things don't give two shits about pushing town wagons when there's no threat for them. But I dunno.
I thought his "reasoning" for thinking I am mafia is too stupid for a mafia player to make up.In post 370, MacReady~ wrote:Why do you think Windows is townie?
yea but his later posts are decent so I don't think he would decide to gimmick open with a really weird reason to scumread me.In post 374, MacReady~ wrote:And I guess, I think it's actually something scum might latch onto though, for lack of anything betterIn post 372, Blair~ wrote:I thought his "reasoning" for thinking I am mafia is too stupid for a mafia player to make up.In post 370, MacReady~ wrote:Why do you think Windows is townie?

You must like my trolling huh? I've already said I'll stop trolling if we move topic but you're trying to bring it back...
agree with thisIn post 510, MacReady~ wrote:Also, irregardless of the claim, the fact that they're still not solving, trying to find scum, doing anything, etc, is pretty scummy imo

@Mod how does this even work.
true that makes senseIn post 747, Nauls~ wrote:For Palmer to be scum, Childs would have to be currently scum too, right? Otherwise a 50/50 is a nonsensical play for them to make, a vigi shot ruins it.In post 746, Blair~ wrote:I don't trust palmer tbh
In post 753, MacReady~ wrote:Well, assuming you didn't get assimilated after the fact, but yes
Pedit I don't know, I didn't think about it that way. I don't think so though- I just received a message, I don't see why an assimilated Thing couldn't receive it
no it just means MacReady didn't get assimilated on night one, he could still originally be a thing though I kind of townread him for being so leadery on killing Clark. In post 752, Palmer~ wrote:Does this also conftown MacReady? That is, if MacReady had been assimilated, they wouldn't know their slot got mail?In post 751, Blair~ wrote:also I am just going to claim that I am a one shot mailman who sent the message to MacReady to conftown myself for now.
My thought process was that I wanted to know if he had been assimilated because it'd be dangerous for the town if a strong town leader like him had been assimilated.
I'll do it when I get home. Phoneposting isn't great for writing things. In post 754, Palmer~ wrote:Speaking of which... where's the diary entry? In post 753, MacReady~ wrote:assuming you didn't get assimilated after the fact

There'd be HELL to pay today if Clarke had flipped town.
And there will be HELL to pay tomorrow if you manage to eliminate Palmer.

i'm here right nowIn post 870, Fuchs~ wrote:This page has both somewhat alleviated my concern that childs is not childs, while simultaneously making me very frustrated with childs for their plan yesterday. Like, the attempt to force the town into a game plan, based on a lie, that only actually works if you read is right, and fucks the town over if it is wrong...
While leaving the possibility of misinformation for the town, because if they did die their pm does not flip to clear up where they lied...
But also, this page is the first page that actually reads in a way that makes me fairly confident that they are the same person.
based on what?In post 891, Windows~ wrote:if I were scum with Lars I'd have been more likely to assimilate than Lars.
we can discuss who Childs should shoot after Windows flips scum and not waste the dayIn post 914, MacReady~ wrote:I'm fine ending the day here with a lim on Windows, with the understanding that if they somehow flip town, Childs is shooting Palmer, and otherwise holstering
In post 913, Windows~ wrote:This day has been super interesting as a reaction test but it is now time for me to reveal the proof that Palmer's claim to have a guilty is a lie. I was hoping not to have to out my role but,
I am a0.5-shot rolecop
The flavour gist of my power role is that, as my character is a radio operator I can send and receive information so I can find out about other players, but because our reception is so poor I can only make out every second letter of the message I receive.
(This is in contrast to the television aerials who got married - their wedding was nice enough, but their reception was fantastic!
(Apparently for their honeymoon they went across the Channel.
(Married life didn't suit them though, they got into a fight in a bar, about whether VHF or UHF is better. They were both band.
(Now they've split up - she's kept the house, he's gone to live with his Aunt Anna.
(She makes him his favourite sandwiches - tuner.
(I heard he's now dating a satellite receiver. He says she's quite a dish.))))))
Anyhow, last night I investigated Palmer and got back the following result:
*h*n*
This proves that Palmer is either a Thing, or a Phony, or a river (either the Rhone or the Rhine). Possibly even a Thong. But definitely not a one shot cop, or I would have received *n*s*o*c*p. Or o*e*h*t*o* depending which ear I was listening with at the time.
So, time to vote out Palmer.
