It was cold. So cold. so very cold. the kind of cold that comes in the night and creeps into your bones and leaves you shaking while wrapped in your blankets because the light of the world has faded.

It had begun. The last planeload of evacuees left in the morning leaving just thirteen souls behind.

The last survivors of the horror that had unfolded over the last week forcing the evacuation of the largest research station on the continent.

Some of us were already

their bodies turned into meatsacks for monsters to hide in.

If I had my way we would all take a collective bath in a pool of kerosene and then light it up - end it all. Better to insure the safety of humanity than to die screaming in the dark but I was outvoted.

Now we had to play

. Outwit the monsters within our ranks and kill them all with extreme prejudice. They could be any of us and become any of us.

Disgusting - the very thought made my skin crawl inside - the idea that

I play to kill bad guys I don't play to enforce the anti-trolling laws of 2015. I don't like being trolled but I also don't like losing cuz some random townie decided to troll my game

if Norris is town then he's an easy target for scum because he's a giant troll and there's enough trolls on this website that it could be just be a town troll and I don't feel like we're going to get a better read on him by pressuring him especially if he's a troll because he is a troll and probably enjoys pissing you off for attention or whatever. I'd rather focus my attention on people who can be sorted.

I spent ~30 minutes re-reading and I like the following players so far for town:
MacReady, Fuchs, Garry, Childs, Nauls, Lars, Windows.

Thinking more about Norris trolling and refusing to answer the question about which post made him think Clark is a Newb and not having an answer I feel like it might be somewhat more susp as if they had read it somewhere else like in the Mafia PT and subconsciously put it into their head then they might have slipped so it's not just trolling but possibly covering up a slip. I am fine with voting there if we want that

I think there will always be more resistance on a scum wagon because the bussing incentives don't exist in this game - you can't really get towncred in a game where scum can jump into townread slots. So there's no incentive to bus your teammates to look good because looking good isn't useful.

On the flip side there IS incentive to hard defend your teammates for shitty reasons because associatives don't help as much when you can just jump out of your own body if your teammate gets flipped - you don't have to worry about looking bad

in a normal game, you can bus for towncred and get towncred to endgame because really good bussing makes people look very town - that's the incentive to bus your teammate in a normal game

in this game - we are re-evaluating every slot every day because alignments can change so that bus credit doesn't do you any good - it's not like you can bus your teammate on day one and coast for a few days.

This page has both somewhat alleviated my concern that childs is not childs, while simultaneously making me very frustrated with childs for their plan yesterday. Like, the attempt to force the town into a game plan, based on a lie, that only actually works if you read is right, and fucks the town over if it is wrong...

While leaving the possibility of misinformation for the town, because if they did die their pm does not flip to clear up where they lied...

But also, this page is the first page that actually reads in a way that makes me fairly confident that they are the same person.

November 11th 2022: McMurdo Station, Antarctica

I'll never forget his eyes as he stared at me. The tears, the begging, the pleading.

After we locked him in the cage he banged on it piteously screaming that he was human. that we were

wrong

. that he had a wife and kids waiting for him in Canada.

The decision had already been made - to falter now would be to plunge into the darkness and surrender to

them

. At least that's what we told ourselves as we began spraying him with the flamethrowers.

The smell of burning flesh. His screaming reaching new heights as his skin began to burn under the heat. I had to force myself to keep looking. To

see

if I had condemned an innocent man.

As his body withered away under the flames,

it

rushed out at us; faster than the eye could see it slammed into bars with force that bent them in a dozen places. Too late..

It screamed at us as it thrashed against the cage, the last death struggles of a dying monster. I could see murderous intent in its eyes. It hated us so much.

We burned it for another hour after it stopped moving just to make sure. Exhausted - we cleaned up the ashes and made our way back to our bunks.

None of us would sleep well that night.

This day has been super interesting as a reaction test but it is now time for me to reveal the proof that Palmer's claim to have a guilty is a lie. I was hoping not to have to out my role but,

I am a

0.5-shot rolecop

The flavour gist of my power role is that, as my character is a radio operator I can send and receive information so I can find out about other players, but because our reception is so poor I can only make out every second letter of the message I receive.

(This is in contrast to the television aerials who got married - their wedding was nice enough, but their reception was fantastic!
(Apparently for their honeymoon they went across the Channel.
(Married life didn't suit them though, they got into a fight in a bar, about whether VHF or UHF is better. They were both band.
(Now they've split up - she's kept the house, he's gone to live with his Aunt Anna.
(She makes him his favourite sandwiches - tuner.
(I heard he's now dating a satellite receiver. He says she's quite a dish.))))))

Anyhow, last night I investigated Palmer and got back the following result:

This proves that Palmer is either a Thing, or a Phony, or a river (either the Rhone or the Rhine). Possibly even a Thong. But definitely not a one shot cop, or I would have received *n*s*o*c*p. Or o*e*h*t*o* depending which ear I was listening with at the time.

So, time to vote out Palmer.
