General

1. All site-wide rules are applied in full

10. No quoting of private communications with moderators. No direct quoting of role PMs, however, paraphrasing is allowed

12. Moderators reserve the right to make final decisions in individual incidences, and adjustments to the rules. Players will be notified in either case

Voting

1. Use the VOTE: Vote tag, or
   bold your vote
   in easily spotted places
   
2. Full names and abbreviated versions are acceptable as long as they are easily recognizable
   
3. Moderators reserve the final judgement towards ambiguous votes
   
4. Vote counts may change if moderators miscount or miss valid votes
   
5. UNVOTE: Unvote is not required
   
6. Majority lynch is in effect
   
7. If a majority lynch is not achieved by deadline, or "No Lynch" receives at least 50% votes, the game day will end with No Lynch

Activity

1. Prods are issued after 48 hours of inactivity. Following a prod, players have 24 hours to respond or be replaced
   
2. Players are automatically replaced upon receiving the 3rd prod
   
3. Day phase lasts 12 days; night 2 days. Extensions may be given under certain circumstances
   
4. Players with actions may choose to send their actions via PM to the mod, or in quick topics if applicable
   
5. Players may choose to send actions in advance. The final action received before the deadline will be chosen

Mechanics

1. Pick Your Power X/Y has 11 towns and 3 mafia members.
   
2. At the beginning of the game, there is a draft to determine the order for the bidding on roles.
   
3. Once this has happened, each player will send in the role they'd like to be. Only one role from each "slot" will be awarded, for example; there cannot be a Doctor and a Roleblocker in the game.
   
4. As such, in the event multiple players select the same role (or the same "slot"), the player highest in the draft order wins the role, whilst the others remain Vanilla.
   
5. Roles are then distributed and Day 1 begins.
   
6. Throughout the bidding phases, the thread is locked, however, mafia may collude privately during this time and then again throughout the day.
   
7. If a player does not win a role in the draft, they will stay powerless.
   
8. An individual Mafia member cannot nightkill and use a power on the same night.
   
9. Night actions will be resolved in the following order:
   1. Commuting
      
   2. PGO Activation
      
   3. Roleblocking
      
   4. Redirecting
      
   5. Protecting
      
   6. Killing
      
   7. Investigating

Night 3 Vigilante/Vengeful: people keep crumbing this, stop crumbing. vig/venge someone based on community consensus. i doubt town picked vengeful but if anyone claims vengeful, policy lynch them (this is optimal play)

1-Shot Vigilante OR 1-Shot PGO: vig someone who's either dead weight or is likely to be lynched tomorrow. luckily we have a list of "most likely to be PR" to "least likely to be PR" so just try to hit vanillas imo. doubt anyone ever picks PGO in this setup

Cop OR 1-Shot Redirector: we hypoclaim cop targets tomorrow, remember to actually act like you have an inno

Universal Backup OR Role Cop: role cop is surprisingly not terrible. rolecop people at the top of the list. look for scum picking vengeful, redirector, etc.

Neighborizer OR Fruit Vendor: i sincerely hope no one picked fruit vendor. neighborize talkative hard-to-sorts who won't get NK'd. i used to be a great neighbour but now i just get NK'd so don't neighborize me thanks
