i intentionally positioned myself in the game to make my death a WIFOM basket, even outside of people on my team.
even if someone knew or strongly believed i was an alignment, they wouldnt have strong associations with me and another person, and they're more likely to associate me with the WRONG person.

my only hiccup was my association with Iconeum. but tbh, I tried to be the "principled-town-taly" in defending Iconeum to make it SEEM like I didn't know he was scum at all.

town just was not willing to work together and scum took advantage by joining groups and blocs

Don't think I played with him(her?) much before my hiatus but in my limited experience I think ank makes for decent setup spec and looking into scums grand plot
I reckoned that strongman is most likely to be scum, and if so is aware of it being a scumtell and trying to keep it hidden. Thus, claiming BP would mean they'd avoid shooting me. If I keep BP hidden, strongman scum could shoot me by accident, outing themselves
Also I think it's fair to say that me being BP makes it unlikely for me to be scum
the sad thing is if town follows my plan they would likely have a good chance of winning
but of course because scum suggested the best plan for their survival they will not use it
