i mislynched him once (also off terrible associations) and only locktowned him in another game after a full metadive (he dropped a very particular towntell)

IMO it's a pretty classic scum strat to avoid being on the lynching wagon, and push something that will probably never achieve a lynch.
honestly my wagon was so bad I wouldn't be remotely surprised by 2 scum being on it.

I agree except I think this normally holds on a mislynch.
Scum tend to want to be on lynches for scum.

Also there’s a leveling component to that argument.

Hit and dave being the slots I'd prefer to see flip today, I can't really see either of them organically joining the jjh wagon yesterday. scum will want to be on a scum lynch sure but not if they can't reasonably fabricate a scumread on their buddy.

totally happy to be wrong here but off-wagon looks a LOT more promising.

I do think pintu could be bussing here. His agreement with NSG's early case on jjh seemed premature. (NSG's case turned out to be right in hindsight, but reading it on D1 before the jjh flip, it seemed kinda reachy at points). He also didn't vote jjh despite him seeming scummy, but based on quickly skimming Open 720, town!pintu was more willing to move his vote there, even if it was just for pressure.

Nah ofrhz seems to be just asking, like "hey I don't get that, could you explain?", jjh went further. But you're reducing NSG case only to the white knighting thing and there's more,

specifically the inconsistency about RVS; that part is what I most liked.

The RVS vote was the part of NSG's case he liked the most, but then...

1. The inconsistency comes when you say you want to get out of RVS as soon as possible, but when a player comes and takes you out abruptly from RVS, try to go back to it with an RVS vote.

Now, I won't lie, saying this out loud makes me think it's a silly way to look at that vote; jjh was basically greeting me 'cause I was late to the party.

This part sounds like pin was reconsidering jjh's RVS vote and perhaps no longer found it scummy, which would be a towny thing to do.
but later, he says jjh is still scummy 269, 1179, so it doesn't seem like he reconsidered after all, and has all along thought jjh was scummy b/c of NSG's case.

One of jjh reactions pinged me as scummy, and this time scummy could equal scum (different from my first perception about him at the begining of the game).

I don't recall seeing her make a statement about HitAlt or Dave but maybe I missed something.
