NY214: Project Pinecone (Game over! Town wins!)

If he's town we have a good shot at this game. We really do.
But here are my biggest concerns:

1. Our "Vigilante" seems to display traits indicative of not wanting to be leashed. We're not (yet) at the point where we need to provide names but if he DOESN'T shoot in the lynchpool and/or lurkers we're gonna have words and/or rope.
2. HitAlt, the guy whose play has been defined by his role, is MIA.
3. xyzzy is MIA only in this game while posting elsewhere on-site.
4. The near-guaranteed lynch of Elbirn went up in smoke due to the replace out. Not going to say he's scum and it was a tactical replace out but MAN it was so inconvenient.

All of those concerns are valid. I think with HitAlt the proof will be in the pudding to use a different turn of phrase that convey the message you've offered on myself / Aus / worst. If I'm wrong and Worst is a Vig then that's a big ding in HitAlt's credibility and failure to continue to produce anything helpful in the days ahead would be telling.

Also I disagree on my (since I feel Aus stands a good chance of being scum) potential guilty being less useful than HitAlt's .... with a scum blocking Role already gone the odds of a false negative I think are pretty remote.

I think the town needs to be firm in the stance that if he DOES go AWOL he will be punished. With the notable exception of AWOL-hitting-unexpected-mafia, we can't have a loose cannon running around especially since there are 3+ known people with night actions relying on their targets surviving the night.

I have seen on numerous occasions people say someone is scum because they are SK hunting. Imo that’s poop, we are prolonging the overalll town life- also imo, chickadee is using this site meta to create a reason to vote me. Usually scum have a hard time to get on wagons so it could be that, but I’ve not thought it through

Its never simple. Yes, SK hunting to the detriment of everything else is bad because scum want to focus down their competition.
That being said, the damage a SK can do TO THE TOWN is also incredible so town shouldn't be harassed for wanting to lynch the actual person who's the Vig/SK.

No one's really hunting for the SK. We know who has the potential for it.

Interestingly enough, this is the first post I need to catchup on..
I tried to reread D1 through MY OWN ISO, to see how I landed on certain suspicions, and how/why people reacted on my honeypot.
In light of everything that actually went down, MoI is considerably less

(Also funnily enough, I think both of them called my play D1 bad especially since I basically didn't towntell at all, yet now I see they failed to do it properly as well.)

wincon role PM implies a 3p faction.

I wouldn't put too much weight on what the Role-PM implies as mods often want to keep the wincondition vague on how many factions there are.
But since no-one else is claiming the Dramonic-kill, it logically follows that TW is either SK or from a "secondary Mafia".
(No, still not even considering him being a Vig. His answers to my "hunting" of him could've been easily formatted into hinting Vig without outright claiming it, and I would've dropped it then and there.)

I have gameplay reason to believe TW is just a town vig, because why else would he shoot the person he wanted dead even after a claim? He was risking his neck for scrutiny if he was wrong and I don't think SK is that ballsy, usually.

It fits SK-wincon very well to kill a JK-claim?
Them being scum AS WELL is actually twice as good for an SK.

Also check how I started D2: I took my sweet time before engaging directly with you, as to blur the line of what I might know, and whether it was even you I had a result on.

Honestly when I was catching up over the last 5 paged, this was my thought. 2 fruit vendors, one town, and one scum.



I really think MOI is town here, but I also think ausuka is town, so I’m torn. I’ll take my personal laptop with me to work today so I can spend some time with this game maybe. Depends on how busy I am.

Yea, I think two town!fruitters would be pointless.

Me and HitAlt should also coordinate night actions to make sure we don't double up becausewe have different roles and can't overlap.

We can discuss this before EoD.

You didn't obviously claim/crumb/hint a PR D1, and you weren't an obvious townie D1 either by any means.
I on the other hand believe to have called at least part of the scumteam correctly D1, likely have strong metareads on at least one or two of them to boot (you/TW/ausuka to name the D1 "suspects"), AND softed/claimed a PR all through D1.
