i am 1) taking the mathematically optimal approach and 2) making a play that will hurt my standing regardless of the result

I 100% don't think that Katsuki is towny but I also don't think that his overblown bullshit only comes from scum.
At this point it's not about would you lynch Katsuki but would you doc him if the kill was free: I would not doc him if the kill was free and I don't think anyone should take the position that they would.

Like I feel for him if he's town and got screwed over here but this is the correct approach to the game.

It's a game throw because instead of /outing when fire saw rc in or ask the mod or replace out right away he legit came in and just gave up his spot.

i swear one of my worst buttons is when someone says i am a game thrower.
it annoys me so much.

I was a admin on a mafia site for several years.
I reviewed hundreds/thousands of games and had to make judgement calls on game throwing.

Making baseless accusations of gamethrowing is dumb inside of games.
Take it to list mods.

I don't think fire threw the game, it may of been a dumb move but it's definitely salvageable and tbh it is inevitable that someone would rush to duel anyway it's like a tempting carrot on a stick. It gives content for us to talk about anyway and broke rvs even if it's in a undesirable way.

If they limited the duels by having the Opposition able to decline them by losing their vote or have someone intercept the slot that would be interesting.

and i can actually make a good argument that me being lynched is better if i thought katsuki was town and had amazing role, because i think scum leave me for mislynch bait in the mid-late game and i think that hurts town to leave me alive for that long anyways.

in other words lynching me earlier increases town win chance just by fact that i became susceptible to lynch later which make it easier for scum to win.

at least me lynching both of us i get both of best worlds.
I can't be mislynched mid game and kats who is likely scum gets lynched too.

If i made a bad random duel, then yeah this is all on me.

You can always recover I done worse things in game like fake claim cop on townies and then proceed to lynch all mafia while making it end game. As long as you put in the effort to lynch scum.
