We have (expired on 2018-07-22 15:17:14) to decide, as a group, who I’m dueling.

No guarantees on that, but I’ll think about it.

Why? If you are Town, you do not want to duel me because mechanical, it benefits town for me to win.

I definitely think either ircher or skygazer should do the next duel.

what are everyone’s thoughts on considering someone from the not voting pool? IMO, it’s still a crapshoot, but if we don’t hear from these people after so long, then what good input will we get from them later? they had that whole first duel to commit to a decision during. might be bad in terms of information provided, but might also nail scum (but town is a higher shot(. so i’m about 25% in favor of this, whereas 75% against it.

Please note that in Dynasty Warriors there was a role that automatically killed anyone who started a duel against them

Sooo be wary of people like Brian offering themselves up like that

Only lambdelta hasn’t posted. Everyone else has.

Pedit: My role because allows us to get multiple lynched in, but the only way for it to increase Town EV is if they have a chance of actually falling on scum. If you are Town and I am, there is no point for me to duel you from your standpoint.

Pedit2: Good point.

From your point of view, you should be confirmed Town.
Furthermore, let’s assume (regardless of its true) that you currently townread me.

Tell me how dueling you benefits town from your POV given the above assumptions.

Because it means I can go to the Graveyard and be absolved of cleaning up this mess, while potentially either helping someone I think is town (or is more likely to be town than not town) activate a good Energon ability or perhaps acquire a mystery Scrap ability if they don't really like their Energon ability.

I think Gammagooey's stance on the duel mechanic was very opportunistic yesterday, especially since he 1) stated he thought Firebringer was probably town and 2) didn't scumread Katsuki. I think he was trying to take advantage of his comment in the sign-up thread and apply it here, even though the two situations are not actually the same.

To be clear, my “duel does not end the day” ability is a passive energon ability, and I clarified Day 1 (during which Fire pre-empted me) that if I did energon the first time (I.e.: without Energon beforehand), my ability would still activate.
