I don't want to "shut you down", I just wanted to know what on Earth you were talking about. My saying that there isn't actually a scumslip or contradiction isn't something I

to say, it's just the truth as I see it.

I think - whatever his intention was at the time - implying mislynching someone helps you correctly sort them for the duration of the game, is an odd thing to say. That’s why I asked if it was a derp or a scumslip but on rereading, it clearly reads like a derp over anything else.

First he says, for all eternity, then he corrrcts himself and says,

the DURATION of the game.

The point is that he is saying that the mislynch was a good thing or else he would have been scumreading Moment.

So contradiction may not be quite the right word but the implication that a mislynch is good for sorting a dead slot for the duration of the game, doesn’t really make a whole lot of sense.

That’s why I asked if it was a derp or a scum slip. It’s weird but I don’t know if it’s necessarily scummy.

It's sometimes better to lynch town than scum if the town is going to be a distraction until it is lynched

If someone with bad reads is going to be shoving it down everyone's throats until their biggest scumread flips town, then lynching that town will destroy the basis of the false confidence

It's an opportunity cost, sometimes you have to lynch town over scum to win since having a united town is generally stronger than a single town actively pushing perfect reads and four others pushing completely different all-town scumteams.

It's a little fuzzy, but I'm pretty sure I was trying to see if I could wagon or lynch Maria. I was scumreading Mylo at the time, but only voted her when I felt that she was a viable wagon again.
