i feel pretty good re BEF scum (I had a post about this), and with his claim I feel even better about him being scum that its obnoxious he's still alive.

but I don't think the situation is nearly as comparable, and following creature's suggestion should be the objectively better play.

One of the big reasons, internally, I backed away from lynching you was the idea that I could confirm you based on jailing. Would you say leaving you alive that last game was optimal?

Yea, I don't see the benefit we get from delaying a BEF lynch. Just seems to give scum an extra night to strategize?

I'm also coming around on the idea that Bright could be scum. Creature makes a good point that Bright's reads are all consensus reads and regardless of how Bright presents those reads, it's still true that they ARE his reads. Dann also showed that some of Bright's posts focus on whether the lynch can go through or not rather than whether the player he is voting is scum. That may show the mentality of scum trying to get through the game rather than town trying to find scum.

I think I'd vote Bright if the choices are him, mbaki, and Vorkuta.

I didn't like their early play and their constant interaction in the thread doesn't feel, to me, like they're trying to figure out the game nearly as much as it's just them setting up whatever lynch works.

there's no reason for scum-me to pull of vork + I was first vote anyways.

Of course, scum could know this and yadda yadda, so that is at most not alignment indicative.

I changed my mind over the night. I don't think your super town, but I think now that your actions at the end of the last day don't come from scum. I mention this here:

I don't particularly like Suka/Kmd/DDL, but each slot has given me town vibes at one point or another

Right now though, I'm leaning Kmd for second scum, more on that later.

Dann, I'll give updated reads later today after I've had a chance to read and not just skim. My work schedule has finally relaxed. To answer your question about why I never got a chance to change my vote, vorkuta was lynched before I could catch up. I rarely if ever change my vote when im behind except to remove it entirely.

I'm not sure I buy this logic. If BEF didn't die during the night, that wouldn't automatically incriminate him because of the existence of healer roles and roleblockers and scum playing mindgames. We'd be left in exactly the same situation tomorrow as we are today concerning BEF. Why should we not lynch him today?

Either he comes with a result tomorrow or he gets lynched.

If it's the former, we decide whether to lynch him or not.
