Mini 2059: Scum Private Communication

I honestly think this is a particularly hard setup to play for us, because if we get lynched day 1 or 2, the game gets significantly harder, and if we get lynched day 3 or 4 (maybe even five?) we lose. In addition to all of this, contrary to typical mafia games, even if we play perfectly, town will know our alignments as we leave, which means they will be able to search for associatives starting day 3 at the very latest.

Yea, I agree.
The lack of any PRs does balance it out somewhat tho.

One of us could outright claim informed that we know nights start D2, and that might give us carte blanche to claim whatever until then

I don't think claiming setup knowledge helps us at all. One person can lie about whatever we want to as far as setup is concerned until day 2 but it seems pretty useless, honestly, unless we're claiming PRs just because once town knows setup all setup associated gambits are out the window

My big concern is that a PR w/ a night action doesnt seem credible when there's no nights

The big counter to that is: why claim it otherwise. Town won't know why we're incentived to claim as such until it is too late.

Alright so this is a bit gambitty, but if we get NMSA to L-1 and then flubb quickhammers, we can follow up with a very quick wagon on Flubb to get him to L-1, he claims day 3 IC and makes up some excuse for hammering (he was just super scummy, w/e), and we get him out of there on the end of day 2, this will get us into day 2 with little reason to vote any of us other than the fact that we were on the NMSA wagon

I really want to push this right now. I hope NMSA shows up and does enough to get one more player to vote him. I'm wondering if I could get away with a comment about putting him at L-1 so he'll claim. If he tries to lurk this wagon off I'm going to push for a Lynch because that would be really scummy, but if people start losing interest cuz he starts town posting, I think I have to back off. One of us could maybe tunnel him for the rest of the game if the wagon on him falls apart? VI status looks pretty golden right now, I'm gonna try and get just enough into a townblock with skitter and brig so that I can stick around to day 4 so we can get rid of flubb on day 2 and tictac on day 3.

These are just thoughts, though, I think we should be careful about getting too greedy with our play and I feel a little uncomfortable with my most recent posting. Let's see how this goes.

So I'm extremely tired and unable to focus on anything, which is why I'm here right now instead of studying. I can't get a handle on the Enter/Reck thing at all for some reason, so I'm not going to have much useful to say here until later in the game. Clearly the playstyle change didn't work out great. Because of this, I'm considering replacing out so y'all can have a useful player instead of dead weight in this slot. Do you guys want someone else or do you want me to stay? I'll answer anything you ask me if I have the time, but please don't make me do a full reread. Fire away while I've got a few minutes.

Please don't do this. Strat-replacing borders on outside influence on the game.
I get that ya new, and I sympathize with the feeling, but in the end this is a game, and I'd like it to work withing it's intended parameters as much as possible, even if it's not always possible to fully get there.
If ya not having fun it's ok to replace out, but doing it to advance wincon is kinda not okay.
Then again if ya actually just doing ate, it's fine, and good play

Also wanna say 'dead weight' is not really being fair to yourself. Ya put way more effort in than say Angel or Chara. More than me even in this game.
People have different activity levels, and that is fully ok.

I'm trying to keep my vote on Spam kinda tentative, cause he needs to have viable possible partners to get lynched.

If he doesn't get lynched today this might help lynch him on some other day after I flip.

This flip makes me uncomfortable, I wish we could have gotten the NMSA hammer. I'm not particularly sure how to react, but we'll figure it out. Neither of you should panic, we just need to get you to day 2.
