Because I hadn't really thought on a deeper level about the connection between the posts until dunn brought it up? Sometimes you don't really think about things until someone points them out

But your defensiveness to the suggestion is pretty suspicious
This isn't about thinking on a deeper level though; it's a very simple concept as far as I can tell. I asked you how confident you were about your read, and by asking you that I was undermining your read on Fuscosco by making you admit you're not confident. Thinking about it deeply should probably lead to the realization that I have no reason to do this because it's already clear you're not all that confident and I was voting Fuscosco myself at the time, not to mention I wouldn't really gain anything by obstructing an early push, even if I was buddies with Fuscosco.

Defensiveness being scummy is a strange concept to me. Why shouldn't I defend myself?

I feel like the wilky/sabrina issue would probably be better resolved privately rather than in the game thread.

I'm getting too many scumreads. The game has too little content.

DT towny. I originally voted this slot, because his predecessor was tonally awkward and unnecessarily self conscious. But maybe that was just newb awkwardness because I can see genuine sorting here, and I like his push on Elsa. There are some dumb things that he says like "I'm locktown for spamming" and not reading the game, but in my experience, those aren't necessarily scum indicative for him.

In post 399, Ausuka wrote:to those asking about my line about the gamma wagon; it generally seems like it would be a good idea to build on what we have, even if people are just pretending to actually believe it, then build a wagon that explicitly is not on a scumread because i think the first one would cause more pressure and cause the game to get started a lot faster. if there's a case on gamma that i missed i'd be wrong but i don't think there is one.

@enigma; those players are holding back in terms of content; it's certainly possible some of you are busy irl but we can't just assume that as an excuse for giving no content, i think.
You think then that Gamma has been explicitly said to not be a scum read? What else is there to build on? Why is pushing a Gamma wagon with little reads any different than "
building on what we have, even if people are just pretending to actually believe it
"?
In post 403, Ausuka wrote:
In post 400, davesaz wrote:My Gamma read is precisely about holding back on content. Why is it better to vote a shorter wagon than a longer wagon in that case?
I don't disagree on some of the others you mentioned having low content.
Are any of the people you suggested wagoning scummy to you? You even included yourself in that list. It sounded to me like it was an "anyone but Gamma" type list which seems strange at this point in the game.
in that case, i misinterpreted the situation, sorry.

I think light is scummy, vedith isn't really and obviously not myself. the reason i said that was because i saw people suggesting the gamma wagon was the best way to get the game going, but I think that building on what was posted before and joining a wagon with more stated reasons would be more likely to trigger events.
Do you just think Light is scummy based on the shakiness around the Fuscosco vote?
In post 418, StarwingBeauvoi wrote:They say Ausuka is defensive, but why?
Well maybe one or twice,
But not more than some others.
If Ausuka was defensive in post 137,
So was Light in post 130
Perhaps.
Neither had much bad to defend. They can both defend rightly.
Light in post 138 makes a defense of a sort
And in answers to Ausuka's post 153, I say that we are not as all effective as we wish to be.
It might be better to sound certain when doing pressure, but dithering is not inherently a sign of evil.

If anyone really wishes to call Ausuka defensive, post 398 is a deflection.
Ausuka has shared some opinions, but many reads?
Few of us have many reads.

Starwing, what's your read on Ausuka

It feels like derailment tactic if anything

Because I hadn't really thought on a deeper level about the connection between the posts until dunn brought it up? Sometimes you don't really think about things until someone points them out

Light scumlean. Maybe it was because it was early so she was struggling for content, but I didn't like the reasoning behind her votes.

Yeah, no.

Spamming =/= town. In fact, if it weren't for you replacing in and catching up, I'd say you'd be pretty scummy for trying this tactic.

You know what, fuck it, even for a replace in that spam seemed like you were trying to seem overly towny.

I legit think town has a better chance of winning with him gone than with him here regardless of alignment

Sabrina scumlean. I don't like her trajectory; she went from scumreading DT for trying to seem towny but in , her push sounds more like a PL and it doesn't sound like she's scumreading him. I don't see that much sorting from this slot otherwise.

I agree with Sabrina about postcount being NAI. Claiming "lock town" from being top poster is a big turn off for me. Your posting does seem towny in places though.

Wilky seems towny. Elsa seems to like playing with matches but it's NAI given her history. I appreciate Clemency being more chill with posting but wonder what prompted that change, wanna keep an eye on him.

Wisdom is engimatic but that's style not alignment. Doubt I'll be able to get a good read there until later.

This will be a weird read but i am getting a competent scum vibe that focuses on what people do “wrong” to push them as scum

Townies make mistakes and do scummy things time to time

Dunnstrals tone and agenda this game seems like purely focused on trying to find “what” people did wrong thst makes them scummy

Sounds un-engaged and un-lively. Not trying to look into the motives or higher level reads. Rather, focused on pointing out what naughty tasks people has done.

Also their late vote on enigma that came only after they became a wagon is nagl

These reads “seem” “like” it comes from scum. Thats a lot of hedging and unsuredness despite voting them on the same post over a oretty decent sized wall post consisting of a lot of reads.

@Mod
this is subjective, but my feeling is that a post isn't spam if it's connected to the game, even very loosely. in this case, the gifs relate to another player's username, and are therefore relevant to the game. if it was, like, a full page of nothing but gifs, that might also change things, but 8 posts that are interrupted by other players posting in the thread isn't cause for mod action. if at any point I feel that anyone is simply trying to get as close to the line as possible with excessive posting (or off topic posting) without going over, I'll step in, but I don't think that's happened here.
