Btw I just wanna point out that it would be really unfair to town if both scumteams decided to team up and agree to a pact not to shoot or lynch each other and just shoot town until it was a scenario that would make it so there would be a joint win

In posts 248 and 249, Alisae takes the time to bring up the fact that Boon's rules allow for both scumteams to co-win, and then mentions that the only way this would succeed is if the scumteams signaled each other in the thread. Let's examine why Alisae might do this:

Option A

: Alisae is town who wants all the other townies to be reminded of this rule and to watch out for scumteams signaling each other. Alisae does not realize that these posts themselves look like signaling.

Option B

: Alisae is town who recognizes the potential for scum to try to win together in this setup. In an effort to prevent the two scumteams from actually connecting, Alisae knowingly presents some posts that look like signaling, so they can catch any scum who signal back. This is the "bait the scum to out themselves" theory.

Option C

: Alisae is town who was just rambling about nothingness, and it all ultimately meant nothing.

Option D

: Alisae is scum who wants to signal to the opposing scumteam that the two teams should work together. In this case, Alisae's two posts look like signaling because that's what they are, and Alisae is on the lookout for anyone who might signal back, to work with them/nightkill them, depending on their longterm plan.

I cannot think of any other realistic theories.
Let's see if we can rule out any of these theories.

Seeing Alisae's posts, and thinking that the most likely reasoning behind the posts is either

, and wanting a way to figure out which, I signal back to Alisae. This is a mere 10 posts after Alisae's most recent post, so if I'm right that it is one of these two options, then Alisae will certainly be on the lookout for my signal back. The rest of my case rests on the assumption that

would both certainly find my signal back. This is the only potential room for error in my case, and I think it is very unlikely (though

Option C

would both definitely miss it).

Alisae is SCUM. He couldn't have maden it any clearer than he did with 247 & 248. These posts are an explicit invitation for the other scum team to work with Ali's team.
