here are some somewhat confident reads for you anyway: gaiden is town, dunnstral is town, pops is town

It makes you quite flexible in the stances you can take and mold your play into what seems correct. With all the content we've had and even a flip it's very surprising you don't have more to say or more confidence. People want your slot lynched and you're just here going 'welp'
What makes you townread the people you do?
I bet Maria is scum this game

Na Maria isn't towny enough to be scum this game~

What makes you townread the people you do?
And despite my observation that what I've been doing all game has plainly not been working, I decided to merrily continue down the path to my own lynch because... I'm an idiot, I guess? And if I'm doing this so I can "mold my play into what seems correct," then where are the receipts? When have I done that? Am I waiting until page 250 to execute this daring plan?

I agree that most players would exhibit more confidence at this time. It would also look town to pretend to have that. You've played with me before, so I'm surprised that you haven't yet figured out that this is not unusual.

The bolded only seems to demonstrate my point that the way I've played the game so far is not a good scum strategy at all. But I guess you think I'm some sort of drooling moron. Thanks.

What makes me townread those players is that they are town. Specifically, Dunn has been making logical progressions all game and engages people in a way that feels like genuine sorting. Gaiden is always like this and I think his lackadaisical attitude shows that he doesn't give a damn what anyone thinks of him; also, I have a high degree of faith in Kagami's ability to read this person. pops is clearly having fun with the game and his posting, especially in the second half of this game, has reminded me of his town posts in Guns & Roses, which just ended.

the shitty meta thing i did a while back was i wanted to see if pops sounds like he's having fun as scum. in the one scum game i looked at, he was clearly not having a good time and there is zero levity in any of his posts, but as previously noted, that game looked like a miserable slog so i didn't chalk too much up in his column for that

i'm bothered by thought processes like 3004. it's so level-zero, "all prima facia scummy sounding posts come from scum" thinking. apparently that netted you all the oka lynch, but i don't think it's a methodology that leads to many town wins

Yeh, not impossible he could've decided to distance, but makes more sense he'd try to pair up with someone able to obvtown like I do so I don't become a potential endgaming T-T pair.

playing scum is pretty miserable but it's kind of like the corporation in netrunner where someone has to play it to make the great game the great game it is

It helps a lot if I have partners I really like ,like that game I played with elvis_knits

An event sequence that would make me feel better about Cephrir's slot:
"Cephrir says he doesn't agree with townreading pop's slot"
"pops makes some posts she's clearly enjoying"
"Cephrir says she townreads Cephrir's slot"
"it becomes clear that pops isn't going to get lynched dance1"

Actual sequence of events.
A
B
D
C
"Let us say that you are right and there are two worlds. How much, then, is this 'other world' worth to you? What do you have there that you do not have here? Money? Power? Something worth causing the prince so much pain for?'"
"Well, I..."

Entirely possible

I own on double checking GR at some point too make sure my read is valid, but I don't think that's necessary atm
