You don't have to be good to play a game competitively, it's about believing yourself and enjoying getting as good as you can manage and taking pride in little victories. It doesn't have to be about never losing.
I play lots of games I suck at competitively.

Push with baller/bubbles when you have a number advantage and 2 power clams unless you get a lot of kills and have a lot of clams. Then you can push with 1 power clam.
