The point is that your read appears to change, and you appear to believe Hectic is town. Is this correct?

My tunnel on him is gone. I still kinda scumread him for it, but i'm much less sure about it. Let's say I can now see a world where he is actually town. Especially with the short deadline I dont see it as productive to keep pushing a single slip, when there isn't general support for it. I literally can't do or say anything more to push him then I already had.
What's worse is that I'm being scumread for my push (which happens to me nearly every game). So yeah I don't see much benefit in keeping that up.

Still confused a bit by this--these reasons make it sound like pushing Hectic was tactically poor rather than a poor read. If the day were longer and you weren't being scumread for pushing Hectic, would you still be pushing?

I had Icon and Menalque as my top scumreads when i was pushed to set out where i was. So I thought it was an opportunity to get some more information from Menalque. We're all guessing at the moment, but leaving my vote on someone who others were unvoting seemed a bit pointless, plus i've called Edguf likely town (although I be interested to hear your scumreads @Edguf) and Hectic prob town (although i'm now undecided on Hectic either way, as i thought he might be town for niaive reasons) and they have their votes here

The bolded bothers me because it's such an overtly tactical reason to vote. Like you are just trying to put your vote somewhere that can strand someone instead of voting your suspect.
Why do you think Menalque is mafia, and how did you intend to get information from Menalque without asking him any questions?

here's the short version: I think icon is scum here

the way he pushed hectic for that "scumslip" which pretty obviously isn't a real scumslip (as pointed out by carl or EP, can't remember who now) as it's a perfectly townie mindset to say "X could be scum but only if they were scum with me -- therefore as I'm not scum they can't be scum" although I'll grant his thing of "only a scumlean" was a bit weird

I think that with scum!icon MS is a v likely buddy because of the way that MS was pushing the "icon is a counter wagon to hectic" narrative

there was also the fact that their responses to my "solve" were almost identical, which I don't think town would meld on quite so closely. I can see that more coming from a scum PT where it was agreed that they were gonna hard TR each other by end of day

FF is where he is because I thought his presence here was pretty vacant, but mostly because it seemed like his hop off the icon wagon was what really killed it, which fits with saving a buddy who would have been killed by plurality without getting off

oversoul has also been a bit of a non-presence all day, but what has him quite so low was the two soft pushes of others to shoot if they think someone is scum -- which would of course mean they're not barricading and open them up to getting shot. also the repeated blank votes just seemed odd, but I don't know oversoul well enough to know if that's really AI. rubbed me the wrong way though

I have more thoughts, but this is what's important for now in terms of getting scum stranded

Why is everyone in this game scummy. I think it’s weird that Icon hard scum read Hectic but never actually voted him according to VCs. I also think his point against Hectic is so bad.

I gave my view on Menalque earlier in the game, which, to paraphrase was basically around his early instance Edguf is scum, his reasons for it, and comparing their ISOs at the time. Thank your for your kind compliments in respect of my tactical voting. Im working my way up to attempting to do a post with info in a spoiler, but might leave that until im back home
