It'd be a lie of omission if he can also do it if 1 person bargains for fruit so having 2 bargains maybe makes a little sense.

Nah Jingle has not answered questions about fruit since about page 2. Will only clarify anything Pine gets wrong.

post 85 contains a list of fruits Firebringer made up, and Pine confirmed that 1 fruit on the list is accurate, even though Pine can't lie about fruit. All of those fruits either have no drawback at all or trigger their drawback when you opt into using them.
