RVS votes are short and sweet, making pseudo sense. You made a logic chain, and are now caught scum.

The issue isn't the vote. It is not even entirely the reason for the vote. its how it was proffered and when it was made. You made an inordinately complicated vote with a silly connotation at a point in time when it is the sitewide meta, the longstanding sitewide meta to make short, sweet, and ineffectual votes. And gambits.

Why its scummy, aside from the above, is that it shows discomfort with your position in the game [it is scummy to be so self aware] and it shows a desire to be seen as 'logical' 'useful' and 'proactive'.

I actually see where you are coming from, but i think its weird to lock a read based on a single vote. This is the first time i've seen of someone "catch" scum like that.
I'm not doubting that you are right about most scum being caught because of revealing their mindset, but can you still give me an ecample game where that happened?

Sheeping was not my focal point at all. I was simply rebutting your claim that sheeping was somehow a factor within my own vote.

Your issue is that you're treating my vote as RVS. I've already explained that it was not an RVS vote. It was a calculated and intentional vote albeit with reasons I didn't genuinely believe - this had the sole intention of generating content. Until that point nobody had said anything meaningful.

You're saying a lot of things about me here that I agree with yet I still don't understand how you come to the conclusion I am scum. Yes I took issue with the position in the game (in that nothing of substance was being said). Yes I am incredibly self-aware. Yes I have primarily a logical approach to things. And yes I was trying to be useful and proactive. So what I don't understand is why all of those things are bad? Or at the very least, why you think they are bad? I consider all of those traits to be positive, or at the very least neutral, so the only reason I can see that you'd suspect me for displaying them is if you think I'm faking them. Until your most recent posts, it really did not seem like that was what you were accusing me of. So am I right in saying that the reason you are currently scum reading me is because you think my blatant display of those traits is me faking and overselling them?

Even if you say its a push, then why does him backfiring inconvenience you? Isnt that what you are trying to achieve by pushing him after all? To determine his alignment by talking with him?
To be honest your behaviour seems to me like you locked him as scum and are just trying to avoid the discussion for now. I'm highly against that.

Pisskop is trying to encourage a wagon based on nothing but a overreaction to a vote. It's giving me some bad juju.
But Mutant's vote also seems to mirror my own scum play in a game we did together on the EE forums so i'm not sure how i feel about that either. (I voted someone, then used their reaction as a weapon to push their lynch further) But Mutant just unvoted so i'm leaning more towards it being a way to generate discussion.

Excuse me? I'm offering him a way out. I'm indirectly showcasing how his vote was not made with the intention of generating information that he uses to analyze and progress the game. I'm promoting the stance that I was forced into when you jumped into a conversation to defend him so hard.

The exact point of RVS is to use exaggerated cases to push and use the content generated to make real cases. So why isnt that happening right here? Is it because youre too busy trying to defend mutant? is it because you stepped up to the plate to stifle conversation and take away that from everyone else?

This needs votes, it's false, it's a sheepvote in RVS, it's tryhard, and its trying to blend in.

I am offering my opinion on it, and my opinion is that you're pretty unhelpfull to me and from my POV pushing a very weak point, and when asked about it you throw a fit.
I dont see why you are so concerned about people questioning your votes, isnt that the whole point of the game?
