Of all tyrannies,a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end they do so with the approval of their own conscience.

I’ve played enough mafia to know that’s an obvious conclusion. In post 3472, Nero Cain wrote:you also won't man up and admit your mistake so you're either clueless or you really are scum that took something out of context so you could push me.
And honestly? It still makes NO sense that you've OMGUS scum read THREE ppl but you are NULL on the guy voting you? it honestly looks a bit like buddy play.
But look at it from my perspective.
Look at my interaction with Chemist and Chunn
And the only reason I voted you was because you were hinting that for some reason “Cephirir had a good reason to vote me”.
I remember my last Town game on TOS Fourms.
I was Town. I push Scum. Their scum buddy calls me and them SvS. I say They scum because no town enters like that as their first thoughts.
Then town lynches me for defending the Neighbourhood.
I was working at that time.
0 votes to lynched when I got home and I was mad.
Then Wabbit died N1 the guy who called me and flake SvS.
And Town fuckin Town Read Flake!?! Like WTF.
Town won that game but only because the member of the Neighbourhood that I fuckin defended helped Town to victory along with Town having a pretty powerful setup.
So I don’t understand why people are so bad.- TrueSoulEnergy

Hectic stuffed the PM into his pocket and gazed towards the door. It was metallic and complex, with buttons and levers spread across it's glistenening body. However, the words plastered on the front made what needed to be done self-explanatory.
Push to open.
It was time to make an entrance to the game. It was a good thing he carried around a Roman legionnaire's shield for times like these.
He angled the shield in front of him, and tentatively pushed the metallic door. It was heavier than a bus driver, but he managed to push through with sheer determination. He braced himself for the bandwagon that would surely come crashing into him.
Instead, he was met with nothing.
Well, nothing directly outside his room anyway. What he was instead greeted with was a booming grand hall filled with various wacky characters and creatures. 40 metallic doors, similar to Hectic's, were spread around the circular hall. A podium holding various household objects and weapons of mass destruction sat in the middle of the hall.
A crafty looking axolotyl scurried across the ground in front of him, winking as it passed. It looked so happy, and that warmed Hectic's lukewarm heart.
Hectic frowned as he noticed many of the players dual wielding hammers and sickles. Was this a new fad he had missed? If only he'd have entered the game on time.
Then, out of the corner of his eye, he made out a familiar face.- Nero Cain

Is that really what I said though? In post 3479, TrueSoulEnergy wrote:And the only reason I voted you was because you were hinting that for some reason “Cephirir had a good reason to vote me”.
this does not say I liked the reasoning, this says I had doubts. In post 2488, Nero Cain wrote:I kinda liked Cephrirs TSE vote asbut I don't really like Cephrir himself.I've been waffling on TSE
Full disclosure, and maybe it was silly to begin with, hence why I wasn't voting you in the first place but I had thought you might be a yume (some player around here) alt and your play just kinda reminded me or her scumplay in a game we played together.
but my problem now (partly b/c I'm vengeful and OMGUSy too!) is that you were scum reading 3 ppl but the guy that first voted you didn't get scum read?

That post you made is shady AF and now your on my Scum Reads because if I was scum, do you think I’d out like this and have a confirmable Role that’s the opposite of Governor?
here you scumread chem for scum reading you.
I guess you were scum reading Chen based on voting no gov but so did alot of ppl and I'm not sure why you think he's specifically scummy.
And then you OMGUS'd me and you said you only slightly scumread me so I just leapfrogged two strong scum reads for having doubts and the guy voting you is null?
in fairness, you did call me and leaf werewolves here
It's not an exact science or anything but I think scum like to put buddies in null and I'm just a baffled why he's null and never earned your ire. I also don't think its totally impossible that he's just scum hanging low.

"Well well well, if it isn't Hectic 'Motherfucking Hectic' Hectic."
Hectic shook his head in disbelief, "Aaron Fucking Frost."
They embraced, Aaron was as cold as you'd expect a hollow knight to be, but it was one of the warmest hugs Hectic had ever experienced.
They parted and Hectic raised his eyebrows as he noticed Aaron now had a nail pointed at his chest.
"Very surprised you didn't contribute at all during this phase," Aaron said with an accusatory tone.
"I... overslept."
Aaron narrowed his eyes, "You're the one who convinced me to join this game lmao."
"Did you just say 'lamayo'?"
"Yeah, why?"
It was now Hectic's turn to narrow his eyes, "Listen Aaron, I can already tell you're town, so when you're done with these idle games, we can start talking tactics."
Aaron hesitated, but then the stiffness in his face vanished, and he smiled. Though, of course, Hectic couldn't have known the fact since Aaron didn't have a mouth.
"Hectic buddy I missed you <3."
Though Hectic wasn't quite sure what Aaron meant by the 'less than 3', he was ecstatic to have his old friend back to provide him assistance in this hell hole.

As Hectic and Aaron talked in hushed tones, a strange man sporting a magnificent beard and luscious long hair approached the pair. Hectic raised his hand to Aaron, indicating that they had company.
The man was... dancing. Non-stop. It was the same dance repeated on loop over and over. The man seemed to have a bottomless pool of energy.
"That must be tedious to carry around," the stranger said in a gruff voice.
"What?" Hectic replied cautiously, a little scared.
"Your legionnaire shield."
"Ah, right. I'd forgotten I was even holding it. It's kinda like an attachment to my body at this point."
"Guy needs to lose some weight ASAP."
"Uhh... that's a little rude, also did you really need to shout that last part?"
Nero Cain frowned, "No, not you. The bus driver."
"What bus driver?" Hectic replied, confusion stretched across his face.
"Never mind, I'm bored of this conversation. Bye."
And with that, the man danced away with those same moves on loop. It was truly an eerie sight, and several shivers were sent down Hectic's spine.
Aaron gave him a sombre look, "And that's one of the normal guys."- Wooper

"Calling Nero one of the normal guys or implying he's town is just bad news."
Hearing the voice behind him, Hectic jumped out of his skin. He then sighed and started pulling his skin suit back on.
Aaron gave him a sympathetic look, "Anyway Hectic, I've got some scum to hunt so I'll talk to you later."
He gave Hectic a knowing nod. Hectic gave Aaron a knowing nod.
He turned around to examine whoever orwhateverhad snuck on him. It was... a Pokemon of some sort, at least he thought it was.
"Well?" asked Wooper, impatiently.

I want Gamma to be scum because he’s annoying but he’s probably not. And I’m actually second guessing my Firebringer vote after reading him sucking equally as bad as both alignments from other games.
TrueSoul stinks. His last post about mafia games on other sites gives off vibes of true frustration but scum could also be frustrated on that situation.
