Only times I’ve intentionally lied as town were all the same sort of reason. I was so sure the person was scum and nobody was listening I hinted or fake claimed a guilty but all three times people saw right though it cause they could tell it was anger.

That’s not the same here and the way he’s doing it here I refuse to believe came from town. So he’s scum and now you’ve slipped

Game just got easier for me.

I figured out Paragon's main a couple pages ago and I have seen him lie as town in a similar fashion
so yes I don't want to stoke the dumpster fire of a really really really bad application of LAL
I say this as someone who used LAL to get a day2 lynch on a townread slot last year, but also someone who conviced a town to townbloc a player who fake-inno'ed scum. You have to actually think about incentives and motivations

It's not playing against my wincon at all. My playstyle has no effect on my play. Changing it just makes it so I can't be meta read.
