We are repeating our words, over and over. This is not the first time; but the first time I didnt say anything bc I actually thought we were getting something from gw. But now, its just the same thing.
I dnt think we'll get anything more from the mar/gw subject, at least not FROM gw and mar, not if we just repeat the same questions.
Ive already stated my opinion on the matter, I would rather lynch mar. It is more informative, and can bring benefits other than being scum, bc his own presence will always bring the doubt.
Again, I believe gw CAN be defending mar just bc he plays a different way, but from all the possible situations, gw scum mar town its the least probable of them all. I simply think any other situation is more probable.
That dsnt mean I dnt sr gw; he changed the course of his defense from posts 573 and 601 to 732 and 734. I believe he could have digged a hole from where he cant get out. now, with the current gw its possible he simply didnt read enough of the thread, got a bad first impression from what he did read and rethinked the whole subject with the pressure, but, as Ive said, its the least probable possibility as I see it.

In that game, he replied to people more than generate discussion himself. In part because he was scum, and also in part because another player was tunneling him hard almost from the moment he appeared. He posted stuff without substance (like redundant information about the setup), also constantly promised to come back later, or look at X person's ISO, and never delivered.

I'm not sure if I'm allowed to quote myself from that thread, but before I voted him and ended the game, I made a post about the things I found scummy or towny out of the two players in lylo with me, which I think summarizes it.

I feel like as scum in that game, he posted more wall-like posts than he is doing right now. But he's keeping those "I'll come back later" kind of posts now and I'm not sure anymore.

Less sure about word, but I feel like word's arguments seem to follow so is likely town.

from what i can tell word thinks clidd is scummy because he is a valuable asset to town and would in theory be good at playing as mafia? and clidd thinks word is town because word reminds clidd of clidd in a game in which clidd was town and word replied to this 'will read', in order to what, help determine his own alignment? i know i've said this before, but this does not 'follow' to me.

at first i thought it was pretty towny that generalwu was defending marashu because i was kinda wary about the wagon myself and that seemed to be why he was worried about the lynch. now that he's called marashu town and is not simply worried about the wagon it feels a lot scummier to me. i think datisi is right that it is more likely scum defending town than vice versa.

This is pretty wifom and that's why Clidd said it's still plausible to believe Marashu is scum. Or do you feel like it's impossible for mafia to realize claiming PR means claiming scum and they can play with people's mind by claiming VT?

Ah, I'm sorry for that assumption, then. I brought that point early on, and you answered me with this:

From that 1987 game, I have played with GW and Clidd. I don't really know how to read Clidd yet. But GW was mafia in the game I played with him, and he posted lengthier posts, mostly replying to other people, with an interesting amount of fluff in them from time to time. For now I'm not seeing that behavior he had as scum back then, so I have a town lean on him.

I don't have reads/leans for anyone else as of yet, but I liked the Datisi-GW interaction.

The way I play is mostly influenced by the situation of the game, and outside factors such as whether or not I have time.
Also if you see more of my games you can see pretty easily that my playstyle from game to game is very different.
I'm not intentionally trying to copy or avoid my playstyle from the other game I played on this site.
I feel like I always get lynched like day 1 on my second game on every website bc people try to read my meta too much.
