I wish I could claim I targeted Garmr right now but that loud isn't me.

considering that we lost 3 roles that are designed to help cull the inactives at this point, I don't trust that this game won't become borderline unplayable in 4-5 days if we don't spend our lynches on them too

the scumteams can cull all the deepwolves

We lynched vigs d1 and d2 though. We have to remove them or have inactives in late game. If we're going to remove them, better to do so early.

like

I'm sorry, I want to play mafia too

but in a game like this, it's completely unreasonable to just start trying to kill people for just being our top scumreads

there's way too many scum slots and too little information available to kill them all, and I strongly doubt we have the ability to catch enough with this approach to make it worth leaving however many slots that aren't playing in the game

I agree, in part. There is okayish evidence against this slot. Apparently the Blue scum has bad associatives.

think of it this way

both scumteams are going to want to stall the game out because the amount of day phases needed to maintain the balance between the points where they'd be inevitably lynched or nightkilled is unreasonable

this means they want to kill all the most active town and the deepwolves to potentially remove town from having any significant threats as well as the other scumteam from inevitably killing them

we can let them wage that war now and analyze the aftermath later when the game is more manageable

I mean you're not wrong but...ugh. I feel like we're in barely-charted territory with this game. There are so few examples of superlarge games like this, and I think they're about as different from Larges as Larges are from Minis and Micros. The balance and possibilities are way off.

I'd rather not, given that I don't want to out the reasons I know how to read Titus and, to a lesser extent, her predecessor.

Titus...squirmed? That might be the best word for it. When confronted about the loudness and the "I didn't target Garmr," she wasn't comfortable or confident with her claim. If it were in person, she'd have shifted uncomfortably in her seat and not made eye contact. I think she got stuck with a role claim a player of her caliber wouldn't have made.

I'm going to go with chk's gut here.
