I mean, Hectic is posting through pictures, regardless of whether the post restriction is real or not, and he's still producing more solve attempts than you. I'll reiterate that this is one major reason for townreading the cappy slot - i could see self-imposing a false restriction to avoid producing reads and content as scum, but that's definitely not what hectic is doing here. People pushing cappy have to tell me why.

I am not following through your reasoning. You town read both of us based on certain things but still feel like there has to be a scum between us? Why? Is there some piece of evidence that’s compelling enough to maintain your idea that one of us is scum, even though you started liking our slots?

Also, can you give thoughts on someone else that perhaps you feel like you haven’t conveyed a lot of your thoughts to the thread about? Anything will do as long as there’s some progression or something. I’d request JC but there’s not so much there to begin with.

So for the hectic thing. When I watched Undertale, people talked about his meta a lot. Like a lot a lot, and one thing I remember was him being newbie or timid as scum. Now I've been trying to consider what this means for this posting in pictures. Like, does the newbie/timid as scum mean that he's unlikely to post in pictures because then he'd feel too weird about getting attention for it OR does he do it in part because he is known for gimmicks and then by posting in pictures it gives him an out and covers up his weaknesses as scum OR am I overthinking it and being dumb?

Relying on intel is generally worse than going without it. I've told Hawke it's not great how much I've leaned into it this game. In the Battle of Undertale, CO Nachomamma may have not have been mistaken for Black Hole if he developed strategies for identifying CO Hectic that are slower but easier to understand than ones based on intel. I cannot prove this right, this is an opinion I have that not everyone needs to agree with.
You seem open to using more than one way of thinking, and I encourage you to use intel as a last resort, not the first. I will try to resist the temptation as well.
