Potential town reasons for 97: delayed RVS, joke, actual scumread, reaction test.
If it were a delayed RVS or joke (which are kinda the same thing) just say so.
If it's an actual scumread, it's hella suspicious but explain why.
If it's a reaction test, expect some reactions.

If there are additional town reasons I haven't thought of, the towny thing is to explain when asked.

The response to Wake was kinda like it was a joke but when Wake and others press on that it's still more town to come clean than to evade.

I'm torn between treating this as a scummy thing from Alo, or thinking it points to Alo traitor signaling to (Bob IIRC?). I have no special reasons to suspect a traitor, but there are certain interactions that just ping and this is one of those categories.

There's no reason for me to dig my heels in on this now that it's played out. I think if you take a look at 96 and 98, it's pretty clear we were still in RVS. Wake's question in 170 over a RVS vote was funny at first, but then I realized he was serious in 180. I thought that was quite odd. Why would someone take what I thought was an obvious joke to that level? Let's explore. In the meanwhile, I think Bob missed my @ to him, which was eyebrow-raising, so I @'d him again, and Bob told me off, which was fine. So here we are.

Bob told me to get a life. I thought that was funny. And appropriate. As far as my scum meta goes, he may be right. I don't know. There's not much of a sample to work with there.

i feel like it's a bit of a reach to say Alo was overly vague or didn't explain everything.

"I had no goal in mind" made me think he was claiming it was a joke, but i wanted to wait for his answer first

I'm actually more an inventor / polymath type, but The Thinker embraces the general idea of thinking twice (or more) and acting once. So I don't really have a favorite philosopher per se. Da Vinci from the renaissance era, Edison from the modern.

I dont like this for the last part since in Cakes response to my post during the time he revealed he was making a general statement about ending RVS is protown. I agree the wording was a bit ambiguous at first (I thought he was saying that I thought he wasnt protown for doing it myself first time around), but it doesnt change the fact by the time this post came out it was clear what cake meant.

Though while there has been a lot of discussion about it, can someone explain more of the waka meta thing to me? I was following along somewhat to it, yet Waka put up some disagreements with that (said somewhere he actually plays well as scum and it was a town favored set up).

I'm leaning town on him regardless, but more evidence is always nice
