Well I can tell you guys that I am happy to be able to post something, albeit defending myself from you guys killing me. So....uhhh thats good I guess?

I'm really not secure in my skills enough to place votes except for random, and they mean little. And if you need proof of how good I am at this game, check out Convict Mafia(as in I was a last replacement...and just look) I could come out with who I am, but I do not really see a point in it, because it helps nobody but the bad guys. Yes, I understand where all the votes for me are coming from, and it frustrates me, but not a whole lot I can do. I'm still sticking by that I have nothing useful to contribute at this point.

I'm also at work at this point and I'm able to respond much faster and easier to the thread. So if you guys have any questions, just post and I'll answer, but as I said, right now I've got nothing.

We've had our discussion.

Well, KE, we've got you to posting now. So, for me, you haven't earned a vote.

But pwnz, on the other hand, where are you?

In responce to my 2 votes.. I did happen to mention something about my cousin dying.. hence no posts over the weekend.. and school does happen every weekday from 8 to 3.. so I really haven't had much of a chance.

I hate all of this reference to other games. This game is this game.. end of story. I don't want to hear about how good you are because you did "this that and the other thing in suchandso mafia".. I want to see what you're made of in this mafia.

Other than that..

KE.. you're going to have to defend yourself a little bit better than that. Not having anything to say when you're 2 votes from a lynch is bad. If you don't give me anything else to go by.. you have my vote.

Defend myself from what? How can I defend myself against something I have no control over? I do not see anything that needs pointing out, thus I have nothing to say about anything. It really is not all that hard to understand. I'm sorry that you feel I have to be lynched because I can not think of anything to add to this conversation, but thats your right to vote for me.

I really have nothing else to say on the matter, if I think of anything pertinent to add I'll do so, but at this point I'm out of options. I will not role claim, as this helps no one, save myself. You will find out who I am when I'm dead. If you guys do end up lynching me, then so be it. But you are lynching me for not having any information to share, not because I refuse to share it.

After reading the posts KingEnigma has made since he got back I pretty much got the same feeling that Mathcam did. I do believe he might be in a position in which he knows not what to say, and his replies to the attacks he has been getting have not raised any concerns in my mind. You guys wanted him to talk, he is now talking, his defense, or what he has as a defense, doesn't sound too scummy, in my opinion, yet pwnz wants him to "defend [him]self a little bit better than that". That sounds like he wants a role claim without actually saying "I want you to role claim". But is that what we want at this point? Maybe, although I would hate to expose a pro-town role just like that. But
FOS: pwnz
for that anyway.

One of the reasons I see KingEnigma's point is because I myself have a problem starting on Day 1's, and although I always say that posting is definitely the main way to catch scum, sometimes it is just a little hard (and I am also a bit lazy sometimes, I promise I'll change :)).

KingEnigma, role-claiming doesn't help only you if it convinces us that you're pro-town and thus not to lynch you. Nevertheless, I don't think a role-claim is in order here...

Unvote: KingEnigma
.

Now that we've all caught up, I'm going back to my pre-lurker-hunt vote of
Vote: Pooky
, whom I still think is most suspicious thus far.

Unfortunately, it's not that simple...in fact, that's a pointedly
bad
approach to take. Whether or not you like it, we all have personalities on this site, and any deviation from those personalities may be an indication of scum. Plus, I don't think anyone was boasting about how well they did...just remembering incidents of big aruments in past games.

cam, stop trying to go for bragging rights,

IS, stop trying to sound as scummy as you can, btw you got some goat blood near that left ear you might want to clean.

KE, post more.

Inhim, so.... you've managed to hop on as the second vote on 3 different bandwagons... and you've shown there are some people you pointedly will not lynch, i.e. KE

Is this scummy behavior? It seems so to me, but I guess on this site it just doesn't seem to be....

so i'll do what I should've done a while ago...

About 90% of the games i'm in are on day 1. I'm having a whole heaping of not knowing what to say.

I also made a commitment in another game that I will start playing more like Internet Stranger, which is to say aggressively.

vote: pwnz
Asking me to do better than that, when there really was not anything else that could be done, seems like we are pushing a lynch, when there is not a great cause. Also, Pooky, I think you have to unvote first, but call me crazy.(Seriously though, dont it kind of hurts my feelings)

I don't see you ever proving yourself innocent yet.. and I never voted for you.. I just asked for a better defense. You haven't shown it.
unvote; vote KingEnigma

By you placing that third vote on me, KE.. you are the one pushing for a lynch. Aren't you being a little hypocritical? Open your eyes.

Granted I am pushing for a lynch at this point, as you did not quote, I will be playing more aggressively because passive is not what you guys are asking for. I gave the only defense I have, there is no better. I placed a third vote on you and with 6 to lynch its not a very absurd amount, you were threatening a 5th vote on me. That for me is the deciding vote, at that point we get one player whos bored or just wants the day to end to cast that last vote and thats that. You are still a ways away from a lynch.

Plus you guys wanted me to look for stuff and post anything I found suspcious and there you go.

Here's my issue: It is Day 1. No matter what we do it will end up a random lynch, and most likely not scum. Now, I'm not saying we need to make Day 1 as fast as possible, just that we aren't going to really better our odds by hopping around. Some say that King Enigma doesn't seem scummy, but that has nothing to do with whether he is scum or not. Given the situation, he would've reacted the same no matter his alignment.

At this point, I don't see anything suspicious on anyone particularly, but likewise I don't have any reason to trust any of you. It's hard to tell if people are acting a certain way because of their alignment, or just because it is the usual informationless Day 1. I think our best action is to get to Day 2 so we can actually have real information to consider.

Fast? that was a 16 day "day 1"

if this is fast, I'd hate to see what the rest of this game is going to be like :(

Vote Count:

2 - KingEnigma (pwnz, Fishbulb)
6 - pwnz (Fuldu, inHimshallibe, KingEnigma, Flying Dutchman, Internet Stranger, PookyTheMagicalBear)
1 - PookyTheMagicalBear (mathcam)

1 - Not voting (silgado106)

Everyone looks around with tired eyes. Eventually, they all settle on pwnz. "String him up," someone yells. "From where?", yells another. "That tree," shouts everyone else. And so they do.

After a few minutes of watching him strangle, it was time to find out who he was. A quick search of his pockets brings up a number of Writ of Executions. And along with those he also had a number of projectile weapons. It turns out pwnz is none other than
Eno Hlaalu
head of the Morag Tong. "A hah, the Morag Tong are killers," cries one in the crowd. "But wait," explains another, "the Morag Tongs actions are perfectly legal." So you all shrug your shoulders and decide that's enough for tonight.

pwnz - Eno Hlaalu (vigilante) - LYNCHED

It is now night 2 please get your choices to me ASAP. I will move to day as soon as all choices are in, or on Monday morning (whichever comes first).

All awake after a nice short night, you all gather to find that your ranks continue to decrease.

A quick search and you discover a large block of ice outside the Thieve's Guild. A closer inspection reveals a shape inside the block. It turns out to be
Fuldu
, aka Sugar-Lips Habasi. Poor, poor, khajit. At least now Fuldu's walking on those warm sands in the sky (and probably pick-pocketing everyone else there)

On another note screaming from the Fighter's Guild tells you that another has bitten the dust. You find
KingEnigma
in a pool of blood, skull crushed by what must have been a powerful blow to the head. It would take a powerful warhammer to leave a wound like this. So much for Eydis Fire-Eye, head of Balmora's Fighter's Guild branch, and friend of Hasphat Antabolis.

Dead:

Fuldu - Sugar-Lips Habasi [Thief]
KingEnigma - Eydis Fire-Eye [Mason]

It is now Day 2. With 7 alive, it's 4 to lynch.
