I want to take the time to emphasize this, regardless of your affiliation self hammering ruins the game for the people you are playing with. A lot of votes and pressure on DP1 are manufactured in order to get a reaction out of a player. As porkens noted, wagons come and go. Even pressure that seems genuine can be faked in order to try and push a player to see how they react to that pressure.

Self hammering is never good in any situation. Self voting can have it's uses.

If you are scum, you just fucked your partner
if you are town, you just put us down a lynch and robbed us of 4 more days worth of discussion.

You have no idea if someone was going to unvote, if someone wanted to see you respond before they unvoted. What is more mindfucking is that you didn't even claim before you did this which just baffles me. This continues to be scummy as fuck, granted you have no reason to lie at twilight so I really doubt you are scum

While i'm beyond annoyed that you would do this, i'm actually grateful you did it dp1 instead of later dayphases. I would really advise not doing this again, because it will certainly make people not want to play with you.

Out of a total of 7 posts made DP1, the first 5 were fluff/rvs.

Post 6 was mostly a response to mikul and him saying he was hesitant to bring arthur to L-2, with some minor FOS for him parroting. After stating he was tentative to bring the man to L-2 for vague reasons, his next post holds no qualms bringing him to L-1.

His contribution was next to nothing the entire day phase, and he contradicted himself with his intentions towards arthur.

The bickering was getting nowhere and I didn't feel like I had a lot to contribute. I like that you decided to just give your reads and try to move on. UNVOTE: Mikul. I voted for Mikul as well for the same reason that mutesa noted, I just don't like spam. I agree with Mikul's defense though which is why I'm unvoting. Mikul seems to want to continue with the game just fine and I don't think being fluffy at the start is a reason to vote right now.

I'm hesitant to L-2 Arthur for only one reason (and if someone wants to show me why this is meaningless, then I have no problem voting), does him trying to make sure the vote against him is counted seem anti scum? I guess a scum could see this as an easy opportunity to show that they are townie; "Look guys, I wanted to make sure the vote against me is counted!" (especially because he did it in forum vs. a pm to the mod).

Missing Town Looters joke reads pretty scummy to me. Even in his defense he says

He isn't capable of fully accepting that it was (obviously now as Town Looter is posting) a joke an tacks on that lurking is scum? Nobody said they would be lurking now though. If you are really against lurking then get on the people who haven't posted yet.

I also noticed Arthur parroting people as Mikul did, that is pretty odd. It looks to me like Arthur wants to show he agrees with the "group." Maybe a play to create a town-bloc including himself in it.
