It's not really helpful to talk about this I don't think. It gives you slight town points but that's about it.

I more want to talk about why you bothered to shade enomis at all if you weren't pushing him. If you're a Merlin and worried about looking like the Red one for pushing enomis, then why weirdly shade him instead of just not doing that and drawing suspicion?

That's why I kept him in my backburner pool of scum with some other lurker-types. I wanted it to look like he was just one of a pool of suspects I was considering. I didn't think that I could force a lynch through on him early and I had other scumspects so I didn't see the point in full-pushing him.

I'd start here, Merlins. This is the least I've ever seen Battle Mage play before, and I can envisage Enomis being a bus, especially with how he commented on his willingness to wagon hop.

Why did you vote for Galron over Battle Mage here?

I even voted for BM to offer that opportunity yet you didn't switch, and the Galron lynch went through.

You missed my point. Ofc BM was confscum from my view but I didn't see a need to push on him more because he was doing himself in. So the less Merlin exposure the better.

Thing is, if Galron flipped town, we'd be in lylo the next day. BM obvscum hammering like that made that lylo really easy for us though. But point is, BM being lynched in the "next few days" isn't okay there.

I get what you mean if you think BM should've been pushed by other people without you helping I guess, but personally, the way you shaded the slot the whole game without directly pushing it actually makes you look more like the corresponding Merlin. It's equivalent to scum shading their buddy without actually pushing them.

This game has been going on for almost 4 weeks, you had to read the rules to find a special code to confirm, and now Cakez realizes that he has Merlin buddies that are in his role PM? It is literally the second line in the rules. It is a classic scumclaim mess up.

I'm almost tempted not to talk about the game at this point because I would be feeding Cakez and the scumteam information. If you need more, I can give it but I'd rather not. I already think you've said enough with the Galron/BM stuff.

But I saw no way the scumteam was gonna kill me because I was pretty suspected by some people and I'm generally an easy mislynch for scum. So I planned to step in directly at that point if Galron flipped town (like he did). That's why I opened the next day so strongly (and would have regardless of the scummy ass hammer).

This is getting into "best play theory" at this point because I've never played in a game like this or a role like this before. So I didn't know if I should be direct or shade like I did. I decided to play it a little safer because I wasn't confident in myself to actually push the lynch through early on.

Go at your speed. I just would really feel bad for someone else having to take over this slot. And I've been bothered by some games like a recent Mini Normal I modded playing out LyLo for the entire day phase while no more then five posts were made a day.
And I feel bad for dead chat (or at least dead town) b/c they have to watch this play out and my dumbassery and can't do anything about it.

Sorta off topic but I hate being in LyLo situations like this in general. Either you have to spout straight bs about someone else to a third person or you have to deal with someone who is spouting that bs. It's so frustrating knowing 100% that someone is lying and not being able to do anything about it other than argue endlessly.

No - I gave you as little information as necessary. You decided to claim your "target" in order to defend yourself. This is probably due to what you actually thought was important for a Merlin claim but you gave out waaay too much information if you were the real one. I then said, you're not a Merlin, which I know because you are not in my role PM, and that's all I need to say. You then fumbled your fakeclaim by insinuating that I was CCing your Merlin claim because you did not read the role PMs properly.

I'm not using my claim to defend myself, correct, I am using it to show how utterly obvious it is that you are scum.

Here's a fun fact - when did I vote BM? The guy who has been cautious with his vote for the entire game voted BM right
