My initial interaction with bingle was straight up questioning their reasoning for making a post.
I no longer feel that way about their posting.

I know Kmd's activity but that's not going to stop me from pushing at something I want an explanation on. And specifically, kmd was carrying as if the read on Bingle was obvious and had been stated, tho it hadn't, so I was particularly seeing if I would continue to get cagey responses or if I would get a thorough explanation. I got the latter.

, re 226 - I'm currently in the stage of my life of writing off arrogance as not indicative of anything in particular. Running into lots of players that think they're better than they are, as both alignments. Also, Bingle has addressed the downplay of the wagon on them, and I really don't expect what else you want someone to say when they're asked to address a wagon on them - "omg it hurts my soul"?

But sure, lets assume that "We don't know where Bingle stands on Porkens" was supposed to be a statement about specifically the early part of the thread and not a blanket statement.

@S&K: The thing I take away from the lack of pointing out that my interactions with you were weird is that the people pushing me aren't reading me particularly closely. That in itself isn't very scum indicative because town skims all the time, but when someone then tries to show how in depth their read on me actually is (like KMD just did) it definitely makes me think they're making shit up. I don't think it particularly makes you scum, nor do I think you would have thought that the interaction was weird because, y'know, you were the other person in the thread looking at the same picture I was.

The question here is, with so many people trying to sell me as scum, why didn't any of them bring up the awkward signalling I didn't even try to hide? That's not a rhetorical question, btw. I genuinely want an answer from my wagon.

volxen presses clidd on agar's posts and in response clidd emptyquotes agar's iso and asks volxen what he sees. this isn't how burden of proof works. what is happening.

bingle arguing that porkens putting effort into one post means every post should have that level of effort feels like an incredibly bad faith argument? like, the argument that porkens attacked an early post he saw as he read the game instead of reading in full and then prioritizing what to comment on feels absurd. i say, as i'm doing exactly what porkens did in my catchup rn.

MS is very town, like the pressure and line of questioning they're pursuing. i don't love bingle's response to the SK vote where he tells MS "SK isn't the vote for today". uh, why not?? and bingle follows this up by going "what are your thoughts on the REST OF THE GAME" and im like..........you don't get to just shut down a wagon on a slot and then put the onus on OTHER PEOPLE to find alternatives. u wanna defend a slot, defend it.

porkens is damn near lock town for me at this point. find myself hard agreeing with most of his posts and the frenetic vote/unvote on bingle last page is a place ive been as town and know exactly what was going through his brain.

bingle has done some weird stuff that i need to get my head around more, and he's sitting in the scum bin, but like, the way he sees the game is just night and day from where i am. porkens might be my strongest town read and yet bingle is scumreading him. i just do not see the case or anything scum indicative there, he's hanging it all on this "you analyzed post #4" thing??

Yeah it's not a specific thing much more than it is a general thing. I feel bingle's posting is purposeful and I can follow the thought processes and don't find it to be stretched or forced. 49 felt very pointless and posting for the sake of posting to me in the manner of "Look at how helpful I'm being!" when providing nothing material to the game, and their followup in 63 felt underhwelming. 94 and onward have decent meat on their bones, show a genuine track of trying to sort things out and makes heads or tails of players while engaging and pushing a bit in directions.

I thought 51 and 81 at least laid the ground work for "Oh, ok AGar was skeptical of Bingle," but apparently not the case so :shrug:. I much prefer people do their own heavy lifting.
