Hectic was rather pleased with his new illumination tool. But he felt as though he would like the forest to be even brighter.
The eager creature spied a bear holding a box wrapped in paper. Flammable, kindlable paper. Hectic's humongous mouth stretched into a wide grin.
"Yip! Yip," he boomed. He descended onto the bear, who only saw a swinging tail clasping a flaming merchant at the last moment so he could begin fleeing. "No no no! This costume is very papery!" Pooky quickly dived flat on the ground, making it awkward for Hectic to try to touch him, since Hectic was awkwardly floating.
Nahdia only revelled in the conflict. "Oh hoh hoh! Will Pooky be a heroic beacon for the rest of his life?!?!".

on Hectic: in an NAI vacuum, i would trust Prism's meta more than my own. i don't tend to apply meta in a serious way, it's out of my skillset. at most i use it to identify personality quirks, styles, and things out of the ordinary.

anyway, you wanted a question. it's not game related, but do you mind me asking how long you've been playing mafia for?

but i'm curious: are you going to now do a meta dive on me?

Pooky: it would be helpful if you gave some reads. even if you want to Spare, the onus is not just on town to obvtown themselves. if you actually wanted to nominate yourself as today's spare, you need to build a strong portfolio, and scumhunting is the key to looking town. i believe in you.

I actually think having a as narrow focus as possible is beneficial for getting to 4 town spares as it keeps the scum in the dark about who is being TR'd and who is being SR'd

and realistically, the metrics that are usually used to determine towny town are not some big secret. mafia will have a good guess as to which town are being townread, even if not explicitly stated, just by paying attention.

I actually missed 337 entirely, I was reading haphazardly and typing my responses on my phone in line at the Popeyes drive thru and thinking how absurd it was that I was still linking posts lmao

Meta depends on whether I think it's worth the time it takes me, but probably at some point

technically for ~6 years, though for most of them it was chat mafia. been playing forum mafia for ~1.5 years, and got about 35 games.

I hate that he's likely to be town, just not really the approach he should take for this game as scum imo. Only thing I didn't like was the early Hectic "deliberate" accusation, and that's really plausible for towncat too
