Voting and Deadlines

1. 1. All votes and unvotes must be put in bold or with VOTE: tags. Vote tags are highly prefered.

The world's smallest bat, Kitti's Hog-Nosed Bat (or the "Bumblebee Bat") of Thailand, is smaller than a thumbnail and lighter than a penny!

Kitti's hog-hosed bat, also known as the bumblebee bat (pictured above) is not only the smallest bat, but is also the world's smallest mammal.
They are named after Kitti Thonglongya, a Thai zoologist, who discovered them in 1973.

Seventy percent of all bats consume insects and small bugs for food. The remaining thirty percent live off of fruit.
