uh, in case anyone didn't understand though i think it was fairly obvious: the post where i was posting a ton of bear gifs was my attempt to get people to assign basic meaning to certain sounds so that we could have some semblance of communication with how we responded when quoting things/etc as to signal "i agree/disagree."

if they're both mafia but the game is set up where we condemn two but only eliminate one they could both be mafia and the game would continue, i believe.

i don't see a reason to play it out; we can speak and this has every indication of being the climax. if we vote a town here I think we lose. uf we vote a scum here I think we win

man "random player I know I saw playing a large theme or something sometime tryharding in a post restricted game" is an awful lot more town indicative than "shiki tryharding in a post restricted game" this is such a letdown the secret to the setup is losing the animal voices is a curse that will just spread sadness and despair and disappointment

i checked on players familiarity with eachother but i'm not sure how helpful it is. i don't think there is anyone in the game who would choose me, and i would have chosen loki dokie, which i thought about at length after it was revealed that the mafia chose their partner.

i would say this is quite unlikely to be the climax. looking at last silent star might give some indication that this is not THE END.

plusJOYed I disagree a lot with your setup spec.
I think this will be a full game with more than 0 but fewer than usual factional nightkills from the scum and I speculate maybe a random post restricted day that occurs before eLo, so probably tomorrow.
Having just played the post restricted phase and spending lots of time on it it can feel like it was a point in and of itself but if you flip it around and look at it a different way, the extra procedural steps in my/pooky's elimination is a safeguard that ensures the town doesn't have to actually do any eliminations that didn't benefit from post unrestricted gameplay.

Even if we're both town you get miles more momentum and information off of a misexecute if it had real dayplay

okay, i have familiarity with taylor, pooky, plus, isis and n_m; i would say i have ~enjoyed~ isis and pooky the most in the things we've shared so far. i would have picked isis for my partner for this.

I would have rolled a d20, given one of the sides Not_mafia should have gotten to Pooky, and would have assigned the extra 19 and 20 to Kanna.
