I really don't see how what I said could be interpreted as being toxic - I apologize if I offended you in any way. I just meant that if I had to 1v1 solo against someone who was scum on D1, I'd want it to be you That's with all the implied respect and more.

It's good to strategically vote people who would be more likely to be recruited but it doesn't ever reduce the likelihood they randed as the initial scum. It's like gravy kicker extra bonus value you get picking someone with good recruit probability that could also be the starter scum. There's no reason you couldn't be the starter scum.

i chose the firebird from the little humpbacked horse as my first choice but i also rambled about nightingales because almost always nightingales would have been my first choice but i had just watched the animated movie as research for my third choice on the list (and then of course the ballet which i always return to and would highly recommend) so i became 'firebird the nightingale'.

my second choice was behemoth from master and margarita. my third choice was balthazar from au hasard balthazar, who was then assigned to me in the second condemnation phase.

I tried to work through the exercise of who I'd pick if I opted not to randomize and it was pretty hard
The harder it is, the more likely I think it is that I would have randomized. My best guess is plusJOYED

If I had it modconfirmed that drusilla wasn't the recruit in addition to knowing I wasn't the recruit, I still wouldn't feel any better about Kanna based on her answer.

I pick you up at the airport, your flight is late and they misplace your bags but I manage to get them from some very rude TSA people.

We drive down the highway, ocean breeze in our hair.

We see a nice spot - a cove with crystal blue water that reflects the sky.

I set up the table and you get the champagne out of the cooler in the trunk.

We spend a few hours drinking and reminiscing. Then I get the rest of our dinner from the trunk. The stars come out to watch.

We start on the heavier wine, there's a brief pause because you know the night is about to be over..

We lock eyes across the table and I see into your soul and I know what I have to do.

I apologize and go jump into the ocean. You go on to catch the bad guys who set us up..

ok and what in my play-history would suggest I am good as a scum-partner ? I'm usually outspoken, brash and draw tons of attention - in a post restricted game such as this one I would think the ideal partner would be someone who is more of a silent hide in the shadows type player.

for me what would suggest you're a good choice for me would be the drawing of attention, but i'm not sure i could evaluate why other players would make that decision. i disagree with the last sentence entirely but it feels particularly not useful to discuss.

imo in a post restricted game you don't want somebody who has low self control and just spam posts a lot. Which I kind of did.

For me it was some of the combinations you seemed to make which looked like possible contradictions and then your gif with the tiger roaring about scum choosing but more I townread Drusilla and just decided to sheep her. I really didn’t know what I was doing and how to make useful reads in this setup. I actually was thinking of unvoting you but the thread was already locked and I thought I would have more time on D2 but I don’t think I’ll be voting you today and just hope that Isis is actually scum I guess.

regardless of nomination/flip, i think it's still right to consider pooky town for the second condemn phase because if he was, we would have a better chance pulling down scum if we went with what he wanted
yet if he was scum, he would pull us town but we would already have one scum caught

it's the best chance to get scum ~in some way~
