And I don't care if you're revealed IC on demand. Drawing a PR claim "for fun" is no way to play a Mafia game.I don't care if you're revealed IC on demand, so much less if you fake-claimed a Mason.

I hate the word "feels" so much I do NOT subscribe to it AT ALL.
Let's talk FACTS and logic. Why OUT a TPR? Why even RISK outing one so early? DGB isn't a noob, you know. She's a veteran, and she knew all along a CC was more likely than not.
Now lt's assume sheisa Mason as she claims. That was extremely a selfish move still. Scum now have the option to shoot her or you (or maybe her Mason buddy if they can deduce that) and that's ASSUMING she is a Mason indeed. How's a protective supposed to decide whom to protect?

I didn't read it like that, "Your Mason" just didn't register as "Your Mason BUDDY" in my mind (and it's OBVIOUSLY because w're NOT masons together), but whatever.
UNVOTE:

I don’t think she’s a mason. I think town with low motivation is much more likely to do a (bad) play that shakes things up as opposed to scum doing some big brained gambit. I don’t really care what your opinion of feels are, but the only times I’ve ever caught scum is when their emotions didn’t line up with their actions. That’s how I scumhunt. In post 2232, Almost50 wrote:I hate the word "feels" so much I do NOT subscribe to it AT ALL.

She's been active at times, and besides, I don't see much outside of normal DGB play. I would suspect she has been reading along and posted less when there wasn't much interesting going on (which definitely happened D1).In post 2237, Infinity 324 wrote:She hasn't been super active

Idk I guess I made the assumption that since wasn’t posting and interacting a ton in the thread she wasn’t super motivated to win? Definitely have seen DGB be way more active than she’s been- DrippingGoofball

Evening all, another day and more excuses from me for not being as active as I'd like to - got called into work to sort out some IT dramas, which ended up consuming most of my day.
So I thought DGB was coasting hard yesterday and trying a bit too hard to look like chummy town. The fakeclaim on infinity is not something I would see newb-scum doing, but for an experienced player I could see it coming from either alignment.
What has changed from your POV - you seemed pretty against this yesterdayIn post 2199, DrippingGoofball wrote:I was not willing to eliminate DkKoba yesterday, but today, I might.- Marky Mark

On the other hand, while DGB is a SR for me, the reasons behind this vote feel thin - it's a borderline policy vote.In post 2191, Almost50 wrote:

Is this in reference to DGB? I can't think of anyone else who is voting you or openly SRing you at the moment who wasn't on your wagon when it was at its peak late D1.In post 2217, DkKoba wrote:The people on the gerain wagon not even bothering looking on the wagon and going straight for me esp when the logic was that gerain was my partner so imma need some explanations there- Marky Mark

Just been looking through the votecounts from the end of D1
Geraint wagon wasGamma Emerald, DrippingGoofball, VP Baltar, Infinity 324, Tayl0r Swift, Almost50, Marky Mark
I would count FL on this too as he said in 2070 that he was ok with the elim and didnt give any preferred alternatives. I would also count JV as he was in the same situation as me ie preferred DK elim but was content to hammer geraint
Of the above, JacksonVirgo, Not_Mafia, Flavor Leaf, Marky Mark, Tayl0r Swift were on DK wagon at its peak ie they wanted DK as primary elim choice
This leavesGamma, DGB, VP, Infinity, A50, FL who were first-choice geraint voters
Clearly, there's more to catching scum than reading votecounts, but I think it's a useful piece of the puzzle to be aware of. I mean, geraint was a low-info nullish slot, so I don't think the arguments used to justify votes on him were necessarily flawed, but I reckon choosing a null low-info slot as a first choice elim (rather than as a compromise, which later happened) is moderately opportunistic. In other words, I don't think everyone on this wagon were scum, but I can see scum getting on board to ensure it got pushed through as the primary choice- Infinity 324

Given that I was the primary alternative to the gerain wagon, I'm not sure scum are more or less likely to be on the wagon fmpov. A town elim would've gone through no matter what. Koba flipping scum might change that but yeah.- Marky Mark

So I am going to try and go with my head, not my heart here and park my DK suspicions for the time being. I would be surprised if there was not at least one scum in the pool of people who voted geraint as their primary choice D1.
VOTE: DGB is where I'm at right now - in addition to the reasons I've already articulated, I think the above was a stretch as the non-claim was reasonably inline with typical geraint play ie was NAI, so this felt like a stretch at the time and justification in hindsight (this is massively wifomy ofc, but I would give her the credit that she would know how players with playstyles like geraint tend to behave)In post 2000, DrippingGoofball wrote:

Oh this is scum alright.
I'm interested to hear more from her and will be keeping an eye on Infinity and A50 too
-- Crosspost with infinity: arguably DK wagon was at E-2 so that was probably a more plasuible alternative, but yeah, I can see how that would make sense in terms of town!you- Marky Mark

Hmm, I'm suspicious of A50's uncertainty about the claim just based off this. @A50, did you think my reaction to the claim was towny? Or was there another reason you weren't sure about the guilty? In post 2167, Almost50 wrote:I always think outside the box (some call it moon!logic). Ok, so yeah, the math on infinity's claim is that he was at L-3 when he claimed. That seems exceptionally antsy when the threshold today is L-6 and I had intentionally avoided not voting there. I really don't get how you as town yesterday walked right up to the razor's edge (think you were L-2 yday with people saying they'd be willing to elim you) and not claim, but then claim today quite early when you think there is a guilty on you. It was a serious "flinch too early" if you're town.YOUR AD HERE - VP Baltar
