the claim is one of the most important decision points in the game that puts a player in a no-backtracking zone and limits their future options as well as gives town the opportunity to re-consider or change their minds.

Idk I flail like shit as town if I really feel under pressure and I'd try to not claim as town if I were a pr. Changing my claim however ..... doesn't really happen for me. I don't fake claim ever.
