I think mostly it has a lot to do with cognitive load though.
The math problems that scum need to solve get unbelievably complex when town's reads shift every 5 seconds because they love the game so much.

Like, maybe it would help if you understood that my goal here was to maybe understand the shelly case more? What am I missing there? What is this metric by which we are reaching different conclusions? It seems like you're acting like you were very townie at the start of the game when frankly you weren't. And the lack of self-awareness on your part is bothersome if I'm going to take your case on Shelly seriously when so much of your case is predicated on the idea that shelly should be townreading you when she really had no reason to be. You just weren't that townie dude. Like it'd be nice if she'd.... *done more* by this point. That's fair.

I think LLD is scum and I can't even reach the barbarians because they won't stop fighting. Skitter is in a dangerous position and I don't know where the bus starts and where town being right ends. In that sense, I haven't been able to track why Skitter is being voted. It just literally happened, like a murmur that turned into a bunch of loud voices convinced that Skitter was scum. The progression is concerning, and if there is a bus in play it is far more subtle and not even being tracked. The few who are town and voting Skitter are likely just sheeping someone they believe is town, but again I refer back to the whole contingency plan. There is none.

I'll try to illustrate this because a lot of your side doesn't like to read walls. Please tell me if this is confusing.

Progression for town players usually follows a recognizable pattern to me. I can usually understand why they went from Here (Inquiry of alignment) ➜ Here (Reasoning of vote) ➜ Here (Applying pressure to individual) ➜ Vote. LLD so far does not follow this pattern.

Her thought process on Superbowl went like this:
Here (Inquiry of alignment) ➜ Here (YOU ARE SCUM YOU ARE BEING COACHED I SEE THROUGH YOU YOU ARE SCUM UGHHHH PROCEED TO THROW FUCKING EVERYTHING AT SUPERBOWL PERFORMATIVE NONSENSE) ➜ Vote. She outright skipped a few steps and went from 0 to 100 on one person, and if her intent was to merely pressure Superbowl, then something must've come out of it right? Not really. LLD's one big moment was her fight with Superbowl and then the rest is just (performative nonsense). Look at her posts and tell me if you can gauge where her next thought has lead since that fight and if you can I'll take back everything I've said.

SO, what we have here from Unwnd is a BOLD FACE MISREPRESENTATION OF THE FACTS.

In truth, what happened was I read the game, found something scummy from unwnd, voted for pressure, affirmed my scumread when I finished catching up...

THEN had that interaction, which was primarily used to either cement or change my read on them depending on how they reacted, which I SAID AS MUCH in one of my posts in the interaction.

So Unwnd either doesn't know his asshole from his elbow or is willfully misrepresenting... no, blatantly LYING about this.

I'm a little confused by LLD's re-entrance here. LLD seems very selectively focused and defense focused. Her attack on unwnd is all about the perception of her and looking better in this thread (whether that's because of a misunderstanding or not). I'd like to see LLD a little less self-focused and more focused on the thread at large. LLD picking at people who see the thread the way I do is a straight path to near lockscum.
