I reread D1 on our side overnight to try and get a better bearing on how I feel, but am going out of my way to avoid using “meta” to write off reads and not have to explain it in depth. I don’t have the time for as glorious a wall, but I did want to share my thoughts. I was particularly looking for the ways people interacted with our flipped town.
Muffin- 1301 (to prove a point). But onto actual serious read- I really liked muffin’s reaction to shelly’s claim where hes rattling off possibilities, I actually got decent solving feels. also see his point about his read on me, I just wanted to be a smartass and quote him townreading my posting.
Gypyx- 2486 is very interesting to me in context, talking about Shelly’s claim. It feels like perspective slipping almost, and this leads back to my earlier comments about scum having an amnesiac set. I know Dunn said he can’t hold a conversation in 2865 but I realy dont think its been a full conversation? Like that interaction with nachotammy was the closest to a full interaction I’d seen of gypyx.
Brian- 2577 is probably the towniest post I’ve seen all game. I dont think Brian tries to shut me down there and instead tries to keep me running. That and liking the pushes he has made this game. I kinda want to reread how the titus read went south too, but time is a finite resource.
Spiffeh- He has a weird trajectory for shelly. First off townreading, then when the wagon hits four he joined because all of his townreads were scumreading shelly and he was concerned he was missing something, and towards the end of the day pretty much resigns to sheeping the IC. I suppose this is a touch hypocritical, but it’s something that stuck out upon reread. He even goes on to say its his strongest scumread in 2732 which just feels off? To his credit, he did say he had the same “too many townreads” issue as everyone else but it is strange to go from “sheeping my townreads/IC” to “This person is my strongest scumread”. Also townping off of a Gypyx post where the post number is wrong? Im trying to figure out how I feel about it, as I looked at the post nearest it and it was rather underwhelming.

473 As of this point Spiffeh’s been defending Shelly a lot. We all get those reads, meh.
485 Admittedly Spiffeh says its not as strong as it’s been let on given the defense from Spiffeh.
1271 ends up voting shelly. There was some telegraphing before this, but it still feels weird.
1894 It’s essentially all a sheep read, which granted so was mine.
2653 Not liking the claim, cool, whatever, I get it. 2725, 2732 Not liking the claim and dip. Looking at it purely in isolation it feels a bit better, but it did not really feel as organic upon reread.
So, yeah. I was mostly looking at the wagon and trying to decide where would scum be in the votes, and Spiffeh seems like the most likely option.
Hench- I have liked some of the observations they pulled out upon reread- gypyx knowing about skitters claim bugged me too given how he was supposedly not caught up. I liked prodding Bell and I over the shelly wagon, and looking in retrospect it /was/ an awful wagon.
Bell- On reread I’m townreading the fuck out of him and am mad I listened to the other thread D2. I’m also increasingly skeptical of why they were scumreading him. I think its very interesting what went on the other side about how either Bell or Skitter must be scum but they just… gave up on it? Or are so locked on Bell being scum when he just doesn’t feel like it? Idk. I think its fair to say that the AtE is weird coming from Bell and the whole crumbing debacle is weird as well, but I feel like Bell was hitting the right tonal markers on day 1.
Dunnwnd- Still town. I liked unwnd’s posting and felt very solid solving coming from the slot. Dunn is more of the same and his D2 play was very believable from a town perspective. 2956 doesn’t feel like something scum notices and shoves.

I'm not done getting drunk off my ass yet, but I wouldn't mind Bell or HP wagons. I'd probably prefer HP over Bell, but like I said yesterday, I'm skeptical of a doc + bg being a thing.
I'm glad Muffin was town. I was townreading him, but if I said I wasn't paranoid I'd be lying.
Inverse thread was looking to elim pooky yesterday and then it swerved onto pisskop. You guys should almost certainly elim pooky today and examine what happened yesterday.
@Peta why superbowl9? I'd feel better getting Bell instead of letting him get away again.
So like, I was giving Pooky [and Bell] the benefit of the doubt because of the pooky v Fl game, but if he doesn't town it up, I don't mind a wagon there either.
