Once the town stump has determined how many masons they want, they submit a list of that many players plus four. (Ex: If the stump picked three masons, the stump would submit seven names.) This will be their mason pool.
The moderator(s) will take this list and remove the scumteam.

This is pretty interesting, maybe as the town stump I would choose to have 3 masons, and submit my candidates for the 4 most likely scum picks and 3 least likely scum picks

It’s posts like these that make me doubt you. Why? Because it looks like you could be possibly chaining miselims here with Tweetie/Chara. It’s townie to say that a slot isn’t SvS but scummy to say that it isn’t TvT.

That’s the main reason for me but far from the only one. I think saying that there’s no possibility that Chara and Tweetie could be TvT definitely pings. I also didn’t like her reaction to FL’s Xtoxm post. I think that town!her either reacesses that read or doubles down on it but instead she just sounded irritated.

I’m torn on them after Pokemon Battles. Well for one, tr my paranoia on them because Pooky did that in a previous game. Shiro had a strong gut tr on them but he’s also been wrong. They sounded more engaged than they were in PB but I also remember that Pooky had better reads than me in both Dung games. I also feel it’s a bit disingenuous for Skitter to be questioning our sr on her when she knows - barring a strong reason other than that to obvtown a slot - it’s town indicative for me to sr anyone who’s making a bad push on my slot.

What I like best about Skitter is her claim.

If it actually is Chara, then I’m obviously reading someone else wrong. I guess Skitter would probably be cleared by Chara flip and vice-versa. I feel extremely confident on Tweetie!town.

One thing sticks out to me was that Chara reacted very differently to srs on them in PB. They didn’t seem to have much of a reaction, here otoh, they actually sounded pissed.

Tweet's read is fair, i suppose, considering i also SRed her, though i thought i explained why that was. but seeing that reason along with being disconnected when she's also feeling that way is a little... presented without irony i'm just going to frown at it.

and this game has reminded me that a lot of things the majority of players look at in mafia when determining reads are tools i don't use/don't agree with the significance of.
just, seeing several players all agree that X action is scummy, or Y action is towny, it makes me feel very misaligned with the meta as a whole when i don't agree.
i know i shouldn't be bogged down in it.
