I'm getting a bit less detailed now but I'm powering through because I'm stubborn like a bull. I also typically don't really enjoy comment-style, but you get the rawness of it

Pages 26-40:
#636 from Italiano. Another catch-up or people bringing in opinions already past.
This has been like three times I've seen this.

#654 Wagon on War and Peace, with a vote from Rogue. Actually if I think about it, I think I don't townread Rogue all that much. I recall what someone said but not explictly the person from memory and how Ircher gets himself wagoned on D1. I only bring this up because that seemed to be ignored on the grander scheme of things, and this wagon has left no room for pacing.

Page 28 is just fun fluff.

Page 29 is just deliberate fluff. From Saduade. I know what it seems like. I like jokes too, but you cannot be coming in with RVS intentions 29 pages in. I'm going to frown at it every time.

#726 This is just lazy. With all due respect, but you seem like you're forcing yourself to do. Me? I actually enjoy this see username.

#729 Yeah sure it's a fine vote Saudade but I'm still frowning.

Further content from Saudade is all performative. I'm noting this based on what Italiano flips, because I'm not sure if I see this as a SvS exchange where Saudade's best idea to come in is push Italiano. What is that post by Rick and Morty asking if that was a good vote. I'll need to really think about the assorted players that are pinging me on this level a bit later.

#801 Fey you started off so strong but now have just petered out. I'm worried. When you read this, why has the situation changed?

#817 More and more joking from Sherlock. It's not the jokes, it is the pattern that comes with it.

#858 Another appearance from a new person. Just noting this, no more no less.

Where'd Gamma go?

#895 Sure toog but I see you're still content with the bare minimum.

Alright things are winding down and I'm nearing the end...

We'll wrap this up soon.[/spoiler]

Day 1 soulsolve is Starcrossed, War and Peace, 5uffering, Gamma Emerald. This is for post game bragging rights and nothing more - do not question me on these, as you will only be met with molten lava.

Sure, I'll talk about this post actually, since a lot of people have said they like it:
In post 207, Charlie and Snoopy wrote:complete null read on italiano for me, but i do find gamma's push on him interesting relative to what else is going on in the thread

like there's attention and discussion on a few slots right now, and rather than commenting on any of that you push on italiano based on like... 3 posts? it looks like just arbitarily adding another slot to the lim pool, and you get the added bonus of not having to engage with the building case on ircher

it's probably what id do as scum here

-ss
The reasoning given here is too much and too confident. "adding to limit pool" and "not having to engage with Ircher case" sound like good reasons, but ones that are much easier to see and believe in when you're informed of Gamma's alignment.

Theory is that it could be SvS.

Alright and with that I'm caught up

I want to group some players in an orderly fashion. Variety is the spice of life so I will be using a visual format. I'm sure the lot of you don't enjoy reading.

In all games, I like to visualize it like a room The vs. Format could be interpreted like a party. There is loud music, fun and games. Maybe some murder thrown in there too. Like all parties, the density of the room can be separated. Here is how I interpret the room.

Image

We have Nancy and Titus in the middle. The room is split into two sections. They are the VIP. They are in the middle of all this commotion. Their position does not change. The town masons are close to Nancy as special guests. They have less room to maneuver and want to stay close to Nancy anyways. Then you have the bigger circle of unknown. Think of it like the crowd, with faces a bit harder to differentiate. Maybe even a few people don't want to be there. Maybe some are there intentionally.
The bigger that circle is, the easier it is for scum to move around the room unnoticed.
Our priority should be lessening this circle over time. The townies have not spread out much. It's still D1. There's a lot of people to go through, and we know a few townies are masons by default. There is also more town than scum purely by numbers, so the wider social circle is quite big. Scum are less in numbers but want to decrease town numbers, and in turn invade the town circle. Not all scum are the same however, therefore you might get some movement elsewhere.

Now how does that line up with my reads? Please note that people can move outside of the circle.

You have
Dominant
. Dominant players are the ones who I keep seeing and are mostly leading discussion. Their words are the ones that are influencing votes. It does not simply come down to post-count. I would like to believe that the majority of the dominant players are town, with possibly one scum.

Dominant players are:
Pyro, Batsunami, Fey, Dunn.

Then you have
social
. These are players who are keeping up an appearance in some sense. They seem mostly within the social circle but not enough to be dominant or entirely townie. These are the type of players who I think bare their intentions later on, but do have scummy behavior simply for being outside of the townie circle. This is the group of people I would be less confident on as a whole.

Social players are:
Morty and Rick, Sherlock and Watson, Rogue (Akarin), Saudade.

Finally, you have
Coasting
. These are players who are not really doing anything worthwhile. They may have started off townie* but veered off into nothigness. They are coasting on past behavior or simply just doing enough to get by. They don't entirely classify as unknown. I think you find a good chunk of scum here.

Coasting players are:
Gamma Emerald, Toogeloo, Battle Mage, War and Peace, Starcrossed

There are some players who I couldn't organize into a group. They simply fit as
unknown
. I think Italiano is probably the most scummy in this group but you run the risk of ending D1 with little to no information.

That would be:
SaraharaS, Italiano, Clidd.

Still following me? Probably not.

I don't want to touch Dominant players today.

I would compromise with a social player.
My preference: Morty and Rick > Sherlock and Watson > Saudade > Akarin.

I would very much lim anyone who is coasting.
My preference: Battle Mage > Starcrossed > Toogeloo > War and Peace.

Unknown is crapshoot. Scum doesn't care about them or it's scum who doesn't care.

War and Peace wagon is good for what it is. I think I'll join Pyro on Starcrossed for now.

All my votes today have been on players in your coast pile, Suffering: does that affect my slot's position as the #1 compromise in any way?
