i think there's absolutely incentive for scum to try to force an elimination on a claimed town PR by expressing skepticism that the claim is too strange or too powerful or what have you, and i predicted that sort of thing would happen on day 1. scum win games by eliminating town and if your juicy lurker lim suddenly claims a PR and people start unvoting and having doubts, it's not good to let the opportunity slip through your fingers, you have to start going "i dunno guys, that claim sounds too crazy, would that REALLY be a role? it sounds so fake!"

I don’t know why I imagined some sort of argument between them. I think I was thinking about it in this way because of how opposite some of the reads seems to be between Titus/DotW/DGB/T3 versus say Anya/peta/VFP/DW.
