2 things v quick while I’m on metro:

(1) I think ydrasse hasn’t been playing seriously literally all game not just after ico was pressured (2) the more pertinent question is: why does ydrasse decide to play this way as town? I have seen her do something equivalent when she was town before once but it was on an alt, but I find it easier to believe that scumdrasse just doesn’t wanna try in a probably lost game and decides to just open wolf and joke and not solve than that towndrasse decides to throw in a towngame of hers that’s eminently winnable

If she's been doing it all game it's hard to understand why she was throwing before it was already a lost game for scum

But yeah, it is easier to believe her play as scum since she's (mostly) just losing for herself and one other person at this point and she knows she doesnt have the energy to try

@mena i have a really long workday today and i wont be around-around for like in-real-time stuff till a lot later in the day

But the gist of it is basically that i dont think these situations are so different - yes there were conflating factors of marci being new and cabd being *so* annoying that i think exacerbated the situation but i think scum-you gets upset here *anyways* about being in a tough situation that's fairly irreverisble so early in the day/game, *expecially* since it mirrors what happened in tarot so recently

And i dont think it was a ~rational~ reaction per se, or that you planned it - cuz yeah trying to divert off of ico *doesn't help* if you're scum there i think, and you probably know that on some level. But i dont think it was a rational or *optimal* reaction: you also freaked out in tarot even tho u knew it Wasnt Helping

I called Datisi town immediately and then looked at the combined ISO's and put Icon at E-1. I'm obvious town.

This doesn't feel like the same T3 I just played with. Maybe it's because this game hasn't run off the rails like that one so they've kept up better but T3 pushing to be read as obv town just doesn't seem like their town style

My playstyle has changed a lot recently. Metaing me with that game won't work.

I am not terribly familiar with what happened in Tarot (I skimmed as it was played), but I am guessing you would probably try to save Ico, no? You're a strong scumplayer and you already know what happens from last time if the same thing happens again

No, i absolutely wouldn’t when Ico was that fucked and he’s experienced enough to know better and not count on a save attempt

I would’ve been annoyed because I generally try to preserve buddies on D1 even if they’re bad to then kill them on D2, but I think ico was doomed enough here that I would’ve left my vote on, agreed with the case, and then advocated for PoEing everyone not on wagon

PR claim is “a role that can hard guilty” but I’m holding back how effectively it can do so

I think that (assuming Titanic is an alt of who I think he is) him trying to white knight for me there is very likely what he’d do as scum and strongly reminiscent of what he has done in the past when playing scum against me

Like I think Titanic knows ydrasse well enough to know that she’s developed her scumgame to the point where she absolutely would lolhammer buddy!ico in that spot and that his claiming that she wouldn’t is disingenuous

I think especially since she's so tired of rolling scum this year, she doesn't lolhammer her buddy who can absolutely bring it back and then just openwolf and do nothing the next day

Yeah but that was a calculated move, I had a reason for it. In Sibly's Elegy about 1/4 through Day 1 I was getting scumread so I decided to take the dive to give my partner's towncred. This game it was a mass of confusion and I do terribly in these scenarios.

It didn't seem like that much confusion D1...ico was pretty much always going to get limmed once they got to that L-2 and people were unvoted just to drag the day out a little. Besides Mena being mad there was a whole lot else going on

There's many alternative universes where Ico returns, claims, and posts some towny stuff (which he's 100% capable of) to save himself

and then the wagon slowly dissipates and some random other joker is voted out end of day
