[MT2225] Chrono Trigger Chronicles - The Rise/Fall of Yakra

I caught Gamma's soft: that's why I suddenly read changed on Guillotina. I backed off of it though when Gamma seemed to stop pushing what I thought was a guilty. I forgot about it on day start but I agree it might be worth looking at.

The flavor makes some sense because Cyrus was Frog's best friend according to the wiki

But the reason why it does not really fit is because he is not introduced until much later in the game. I feel like there is a pretty big disparity of the flavor knowledge at the moment, so here is like a run down of the Cathedral

At that point in time, the players are in a medieval cathedral that has been taken over by Yakra(robert). He is the boss of the dungeon, and I would assume that would make him the most powerful pr on the scum team, which is another reason why I don't think that the slip was planned.

Generic enemies in that same dungeon, and what I would guess to be the flavor names of the other bad guys: Diablo, Viper, Underling, Bat, Naga. Of those, I would be most surprised if there is not a Naga because there is a whole scene of walking into the cathedral, and it having nuns and then it being a big reveal that all of the nuns are actually nagas in disguise

And those are the bad buys in the cathedral.


Now for the everyone else related to the scene.

The playable party at the time is : Frog, Chrono, and Lucca, who I assume would all be town prs in this set up.

Other related characters include:
Queen Leene, who Yakra is holding hostage and is the person the party is trying to save.
Marle, who the gang is also trying to save, she is not in the cathedral, but saving Leene=saving Marle because of time travel, after you save her she becomes a playable party member
The Chancellor, who Yakra is impersonating and when you save Leene you also save him

There is a Commander of the guards. He like has some dialogue and stuff, does not actually go to the cathedral, but also the VTs of this game also don't, and he would make sense going with the vts.

At one point, there are 3 enemies pretending to be all of Leene, the chancellor, and the commander all physically inside the cathedral.

I agree with this. But I also very strongly think Cyrus62 is also scum, with a potential guilty on him.

Inventors are not investigative. They make goodies.

That means Gamma had to use his n1 action to make something, so he could not possibly have a guilty result.

If Gamna’s vote was stolen last night, he is lock town for having his vote stolen, that is definitely a scum ability.

This same scum ability could very well place that vote on anyone, including their own to WIFOM us into changing our reads. By the way the Droo vote has been used, it tells me that most likely the votes on you and Robert are WIFOM and that you both are scum, because there is no way scum are so incompetent to waste such a powerful action and not secretly hammer a target at L-1 and instead vote you guys the way they did.

The other option is they are doing it to feed my paranoia of you and Robert, but again, why waste that action to fool just me.

I dont buy it. I need you dead to find out.

Guillo's ISO hits different with Marashu's case in mind. It sounds like he's low key flaming his buddies for fucking up the DROO vote. He also kept pushing for RMH/Dwlee/Gamma associatives but then wanted Dwlee gone towards EoD. Cyrus never switched to voting RMH when he replaced in and kept his vote on Dwlee. He also claimed to be Gaspar lol, so yeah I'm convinced this is a solved game at this point.

We disagree, in that I believe any non-Yakra boss is also scum, for the simple fact that a non-Yakra mystic boss is already claimed.

It's the mystics that brought Cyrus back. He was never alive during the actual game itself.

Cyrus the Ghost was invincible. Only Glenn (Frog) could hurt him. It explains why T3 wants Frog outed so badly.

Also, you don't fight Cyrus if Frog is in your party. He only fights you if Frog's not in your party.
