the way wiki states if pgo is visited by any one that person dies . so it could make a major game change cult leader could die, ww could die alien could die and a doc and cop could die so 6 deaths in one night major game changer role which now that i think about it yes i should have outed it right away but i had no one to ask if it should be outed so i came up with by my self it shouldn't be.

If just claimed willy nilly it loses its potency.
If it is undeniable who the PGO is, there is no longer a threat of "lets not night kill this person, they might be a PGO but they seem like an important role".

we could, but someone mentioned that many of the town-aligned pr's seem to be even-numbered anyway, so maybe it's best to take the chance itc, since we at least know it exists.

Overtired and trying to follow along with the discussion around cyrus. I'm also suspecting that he's lying about the PGO part of his setup claim, but I'm trying to figure out if that's pro-town or not. Hopefully this'll make more sense in the morning.

The ideal play for a PGO is to get targeted by the Mafia, while not being targeted by any Town power roles. However, safer play is to claim directly -- this keeps other Town power roles safe, but also ensures the Mafia will not target you. Note that by claiming, you are opening yourself up to potentially being policy eliminated at some point during the game.

A very risky strategy is to hint at a power role, causing the scum totarget you, and, as a 1 for 1 trade with scum is in the town's favor, you will have helped the town.. this is play advice from wiki
