Cyrus had my roll. He knew it was real. The only way he could know without a doubt that the town PC claim was fake is if he knew the Town PC rolls were fake or fudged. If fudged, it means he knew that because other town PC roles were fudged into Mafia PC roles. If faked, it means he is teamed with dwlee or marashu and knows one or both of them lied about their roll.

I think he gambled. I dont think he knew cakez claim was fake, because that would mean the other PC rolls were made mafia in addition to the existing Mafia PC. Maybe Cook balanced it this way. Maybe a Mafia Rampaging Parity Cop has a rampaging factional kill that killed all 3 players? I think T3 would roleblock cakez, and if James tried to neighborize cakez as well, then that explains all 3 kills in a reasonable way as well.

Is 9:3:1 with a rampaging mafia factional kill balanced in role madness though? I feel like maybe not. I think we just have a serial killer, possibly a vigilante

this looks important but I'm having a tough time following.

And thinking about it the former makes more sense because why would you fudge one roll to be not-CL while fudging a different roll to be CL

what’s the difference

fudging is "hand picked for balance," I believe. The mod re-rolling is a part of the initial role generating process, it's not the finishing touches.

Also with T3 flipping odd-night roleblocker my TR on RMH goes out the window. I thought his gambit was specifically coming from a town odd-night roleblocker role

What’s this about

When RMH came into the game he tried to bait someone into claiming Even-Night roleblocker. He rolled roleblocker with no modification and was trying to bait a fakeclaim. It was a really bad gambit but the idea was there

RMH was actually the Odd-Night Roleblcoker and was trying to bait the other roleblocker into.claiming a modifier that he didnt roll. I TRed Robert after Thor claimed his rolled modifier was odd-night because Roberts gambit made sense coming from an odd-night roleblocker, but otherwise didnt really make sense, and he couldn't know the odd night modifier unless he had received the role. So I TRed him thinking he had the town odd night roleblocker based on the way he played that gambit. But T3 flipped that role, hence my read on him which was based on that play is dissolved

I had a moment D1 where I was like “the way he’s reacting here feels very very genuine so I think he’s town”, I still think the reaction was genuine but now I’m not sure about the town indication of it

I’ll admit I kinda leapt to calling out what looked vaguely like a double standard but the way you seemed to want me to TR you while being dismissive of what I was saying in response to your accusation felt a bit like you were acting like you were somehow above me, and if there’s one thing I detest it’s misplaced/unfounded authority

okay, I'll expand on where my thinking was coming from.

So first of all: I carry over my read of you from day one. Flips have not changed that, and based on the persons, did not expect them to alter my read much. Maybe upon further reading they will, but I did and do doubt it.

"Not impressed by your entrance," sentences like these make me go, "okay this person better explain or they're scum". What it is, is that it's *coloring* my posts. If there were explanation, then it would be a conclusion of your feelings on my posts that we could all follow. As it is, it's baseless, and the only purpose it serves is to paint me in a bad light for no given reason, out of your corner.

So that's why I came out swinging. I wanted a chance to defend myself, but first I would have to know what I'm defending.
And it's not like I don't do that either- just say "i don't like how this looks" and leave it at that. It's not AI in a vacuum, but considering our mutual past and current reads on each other, it looked like it had scum motivation to me- taking advantage of the sometimes sloppy way I play/comment/talk and, again, casting a bad light on it. But that's just how I see it.

In my opinion, this really does mean nothing. Because any "I wouldn't act like x if we were buddies" is only as valid for as long as scum don't think to do it, or don't think they can convince people they wouldn't do it. I mean I'm going through his ISO right now so, we'll see, but I don't think much will change in your department.

I literally had a game rather recently where I got miseliminated for weakly supporting a wagon on someone that flipped scum (I didn’t try to impede the wagon but I never voted there and tried to apply pressure elsewhere)
Following that I think it would be bad play to go “I’m going to go all-in defending my buddy no matter bad it’d look following the flip”
Obviously it’s reasonable to think I’m scum not with Cyrus, but I was kinda wondering where the pressure on me went so I assumed you were thinking that way because I was like “someone has to be thinking this”

Also when someone says “if you’re not scum” it indicates the player is doing something wrong if town. I don’t get why you’d feel like town wouldn’t push what I pushed?

I lied.

I lied because no one claimed to have rolled my role and I figured the scum was lying about their rolls and I wanted to confuse them a little but honestly I wasn't sure what the best way would be maybe it worked maybe it didn't.
