It must have been a frustration thing because you seem to be fighting it now, Gamma.

I strongly prefer Gamma but I don't really mind this Galron wagon, some of their posts just make me tilt my head. 820-822 was one of those sequences that felt off.

Also, noting now that Gamma and Galron are unlikely to be Stagehand-Stagehand given Galron forgot he'd already unvoted Gamma and Stagehands would be more conscious of their vote status on a partner.

I see skitter's point about it being counterproductive in the second case if he's paid actor, but..... I lost my train of thought and don't really know where I'm going with this. I'm probably confbiasing myself since I'm attributing erratic behavior to always be indicative of money, so never mind.

Thoughts that come to my head right now:
Cakez - Unsure, but I remember disliking some of his takes.
Toog - His uncaring play is more likely to be town, doesn't give the feeling he cares about how his posts will look every time he pops in. An example would be the vote on Prism.
Cephrir - Was below null until he started posting about how this game is a wash because of similarities to the last show etc which I thought was pretty towny.

i don't have much of a response to it...i think gamma was lost this game and had an emotional response to people pushing him that led him to play more erratically

the most important thing to look at imo is his posting since prism replaced out, he's been slowly showing a solving mindset in the classic gamma way

it's a mix of things

i don't think this is a player list where i'm likely to have strong scumreads early and i feel that jumping in with reckless aggression is more likely to be unhelpful and lead to confusing my reads anyway

in the very early game i kind of prefer to hang back until something catches my attention anyway

this game is more or less my re-entry to plying mafia after some time off, where i couldn't muster any enthusiasm whatsoever. i had no desire to read anyone, the mystery of a game had no intrigue for me. now i'm back, i'm in that mindset and i'm eager to play, but i'm not in a place where i feel like i can act with confidence yet.


i am entirely serious when i say stuff about how i plan on being obvious town this game, it's just that it's not yet that time

this is perhaps the absolute most NAI post imaginable from ceph and he's somehow drawing conclusions from this, it hardly makes sense. that's a read that ceph would pretty much feel obligated to make as scum. cakez making this read does not feel organic





(also somewhat relatedly i think ceph getting salty about being scumread is town-indicative but haven't checked his response to pressure in recent scumgames to compare)

My point there was I am constantly mind melding with Ceph and it doesn't make sense for him to be scum with that in mind
